Abbotswood Pre-school and Day Nursery

Abbotswood pre school and day nursery are just amazing! They are caring, loving, friendly and a great place for our little ones to learn and grow. Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort you put in to making it such a special place for our children ❤️!

We are so happy our daughter goes to Abbotswood, it is without a doubt the best preschool in the area. The best thing about it is the staff and the setting, who wouldn’t want their child to go to a setting that’s surrounded by nature?!The staff are so lovely and welcoming, they always make a big effort with my daughter and is definitely the main reason she has settled in so quickly. They really know the children and give you a detailed account about their day.The activities that they get up to in a day are SO good and so much better than they’d get anywhere else. A few examples include learning about the environment, practising yoga, den building, tree climbing and playing games with the parachute. I love it when they do some baking or cooking that they then eat as part of their meal (e.g. when they made cheese scones for their tea!)My daughter is also learning so much, since starting a few months ago, she can now count in 10s and say all the months of the year in order - I was blown away!I would highly recommend Abbotswood, it’s such a special place :)

Lovely nursery with lots of outside space, but the staff are what makes it 5*. They are all very caring and fun and I'm amazed at the activities they come up with! We'd have no hesitation recommending Abbotswood to others.

Such a wonderful company!They were our first client we supplied children's outdoor furniture to, a bespoke preschool mud kitchen with island table and toddlers hut, completely designed and built to order.The staff were so welcoming when we arrived on site, took us through all the safety information and got us set up where we would be working and installing.Everyone was very friendly, they were great at fencing off our area to keep the kids at a safe distance and then feeding back to us after we left on how the children and staff liked the results.We're very much looking forward to working for Abbotswood again!Thank you so much too Lou and Hannah, your vision for the nursery is fantastic and we love the level of attention you're giving your site and the children's facilities.Sam and Aaron x

This is such a lovely nursery, we are delighted with it. The staff are exceptional- really caring and they work so hard to create a supportive and nurturing environment. Our daughter has made great progress at the nursery and really enjoys going.

Our daughter has thrived at Abbotswood Nursery since she joined at one years old. The varied activities, from yoga to themed learning and local nature exploration, foster a unique learning-through-play environment. The large garden encourages much-needed outdoor play. Friendly staff contribute to her development with their focus on interaction and communal experiences. Despite the occasional dirt-covered outfit, we're grateful for the wholesome experiences Abbotswood provides that we couldn't replicate at home. Highly recommended!

My son has been attending Abbotswood for over a year now, what attracted me to Abbotswood in the first place was the amount of space that the children have. It’s such a unique setting, coming from a childcare background myself, I know you don’t find nurseries with this amount of outdoor space everyday. My son loves coming to nursery and always speaks fondly of his friends and the staff looking after him. The staff are so friendly and are always about to help, nothing is too much for them. I’m so glad I made this choice for my son and I know he will miss it when he goes to school in September.

Lovely nursery with a family-feel but also very professional, and focused on developing over time. Excellent communications, regular updates about your children and interactive events involving parents. Lovely people who you genuinely feel care about and want to build relationships and develop your children. Would recommend to anyone!

Our daughters journey from babies to toddlers is everything we could wish for at Abbotswood. The staff are caring, passionate and have such a fantastic bond with our little one. They are always working to find new ways to engage and develop the children through play and activities and have the most incredible setting.We love the focus on being outdoors and allowing them to explore and use their imagination in a safe and loving environment.Thank you all Abbotswood staff for your hard work! ❤️
