CEX is given a bad name and that needs to end.I've been looking to get a camera for a few weeks and the one I liked was 650 quid. On my way to work, I saw they had the same one in the window for 260. I checked it out the next day and it's in amazing condition, fully working and came with all the things it should. The lad in the shop was very knowledgable and polite. There's real peace of mind too with their items having a free 2-year warranty which is something you don't get on eBay. He explained how extensively the product was tested and how they check for scratches etc.After testing the camera out at home, it takes amazing pictures and works exactly how it should. Couldn't recommend them more.I've always been sceptical about CEX as rumours say they rip you off, sell poor quality goods and charge way over the odds. In my case, the camera was cheaper than on eBay and is in perfect condition. Was marked B grade because it didn't have the box.Big up for the guy who helped me as he's saved me over 400 quid.

Its pretty good, good stock, good staff ect, the problem is the code they follow is so hypocritical, I've bought games, completely scratched. I'll take a game in with a bit of a scratch and they'll say no.

Unhelpful staff who I assume was manager as he was rudely speaking to other staff and talking down to them in front of us, came across a very arrogant man. We went to ask advice on some products we were looking to sell/exchange and he clearly couldn’t be bothered just told us to look online.. gave us a rough estimate which was pennies for almost brand new consoles etc. would not return will go elsewhere in future.

Really helpful staff, professional and non pushy approach to sales, actual store didn't have the item I wanted on this occasion so staff checked other stores/online for items and went through very clearly how I could order from another store. Whole experience was great

So I visited the store last Wednesday (1st june). First we had a long wait because the girl couldn't find our game. We didn't mind the wait because she was polite, and courteous. She was great at her desk and trying to assure we were happy and got what we came in for. However, since coming home, and I live over 100 miles away, I'm fuming because upon inspection, 4 of the 6 discs we have brought are FILTHY. We have cleaned and even after one disc nearly broke my ps4. This shows this store only care about how they look on the face of things and possibly don't clean the discs or check them before distributing. I could have let it slide after one disc being dirty, but 4. Shocking and thoughtless and clearly a case of give us your money and jog on.
