Travelodge Bodmin Roche

Good location, big rooms, very basic but what more do you need.

Stayed for four nights. As a disabled person I found staff were most helpful. Definitely I would stay here again.

Although the rooms are a tad tired, they are very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in ages.

Not a bad room and easy to get to. Only problem is location. Right next to an A road and no sound proofing on the windows. Great if you're an early bird (5am)

Good location for touring about, great to have midday checkout which is one of the reasons we use Travelodge. Room was v hot & noisy ( overlooking road) so we were moved 2nd night. Windows only open a few inches- but if they could just overide this on the top floor south facing rooms this wouldbe sensible. Fan provided which were essential. Lovely staff. Old pub attached, which we ate in on the Sunday evening. V handy to not have to drive to go out

We stayed for two nights while we visited the Eden Project. The room was affordable, clean and comfortable. The room could do with an update, and an extra couple of pillows, but it was quiet and met our needs.

Glasses needed in bathroom and ironing board and iron required. Thought the breakfast box was not really worth the money.No further complaints as enjoyed our short stay.

The location was excellent. Good base for Padstow and so many other places. Parking good however poorly lit on entering at night. The shower head kept pivoting and spraying the walls. The bathroom floor was so creaky you wake up your partner. The other rooms sounded the same. It a needs a good update overall. Customer service was excellent and it smelt fresh in the corridors. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The outside area leading to the Victoria Inn could do with a spruce up. It's all a bit tired hence the 3 stars but to honest I cannot fault its location and price or service Really enjoyed our stay.

I had to visit Bodmin for work and booked a room and this one came up with quite a reasonable price, the rest were quoting round 160 pounds a night which I thought was too much.It is located outside Bodmin and what looks like a industrial estate.The rooms were clean and the stairs leading to it was very creaky. You can hear people walking in the corridor.I opened the windows and there is plenty of parking on site so that was not an issueBreakfast was booked but they start serving at half 8 and as I had an early start I took the take away breakfast pack which included crossiant jam milk cereals and some protein bar which I thought was very goodThe staff are lovely and helpfulThe rooms are Travelodge so there is nothing to write home about it serves a purpose it is clean and the bed was okish comfy wiseThere is a tv in the room with free viewThe WiFi is not free but I would recommend paying for it as the 5G coverage or 4/3/2G is almost non existent in that vicinityWould I stay again? Yes I would, it is handy and practical and economical

Firstly, the location of this hotel is superb if you want to explore Cornwall. it's nicely place in the middle giving you plenty of choices within a short distance.The staff were truly very helpful and friendly at all times.The only reason for the reduced star was for two reasons, both related to the bathroom.The first was the incredibly squeaky floor. It was terrible. We could also hear the people in the bathroom next to us. It truly is bad.The second was the shower head. The wall had a great time being washed, but it would not stay pointing at you. I had to place tissue in the shower head bracket to be able to keep the shower on me.Apart from that, it was a superb hotel for the price, in a great location
