I don't think it would have been possible to carve the meat any thinner. In fact the piece of gammon was the size of a playing card. The vegetables were nice but could have used the Yorkshire pudding as a hammer. Staff were busy with each other so getting their attention was difficult. The toilets were in need of an environmental clean. It was clear woodwork and floors in toilet were very neglected. My friend and I wanted to split the bill. You'd have thought we had asked the server to pay and give us an internal organ for good measure. The place wasn't even over busy so would have expected better customer service. I'd only recommend if people were desperate for something to eat.

It was busier than expected for a weekday. My dining companions opted for the traditional carvery experience and came back with stuffed plates. My dietary requirements meant I opted for the salad and I wasn’t disappointed. All our requests were fulfilled speedily by our friendly server who had the most incredible two tone hair. Would return again.

Food was great quality and the meat serving was great.The member of staff looking after us (I think his name was Ryan) was absolutely amazing with my toddler, he was really friendly and attentive. There were no brownies left at the time and he was great at suggesting alternatives to us. He was an absolute credit to Toby Carvery and I hope this feedback gets passed on to him.

Great food and staff, though if drinks are not refillable it should be told to you when getting them in the beginning. Breakfast has a wide range of foods to choose from, bacon, sausages, hashbrown, toast aswell to name a few. Staff are very polite and a man with pink hair was very polite in telling us that the drinks were not refillable, which is the standard but it is nice to not be talked down upon when you’ve made a mistake.

Very pleasant OVERWORKED staff. Rushing around doing several jobs simultaneously. Obviously a staff shortage.I chose beef with my carvery. Perhaps the smallest servings I've ever received at a Toby. The vegetables were okay except a leek and potato dish that was swimming in grease like the Yorkshire.What made the visit was the polite friendly staff and not the food

Food was great as usual, unfortunately we asked for drinks 3 times at the table, but did not get any glasses until we had finished eating 40 minutes later, We declined the drinks as we had finished eating. This was reported to the duty manager when we left, she said she would take it up with the company management. I wait to see if I hear anything back.

Stuart, was very warm and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh and delicious, I had tea so I made this myself, there was plenty of complimentary sugars, sweeteners and milk. It was nice to see black pudding at the deck and pancakes too umm yummy.

Long wait to be seated.Not enough staff one girl doing bar showed us to table and brought our drinks to table while 2 staff that we did see were clearing away and taking orders. I chose beef I got a few small pieces I wouldn't say there was even 2 slices and the potato and leek gratin and Yorkshire puddings were very greasy. We left most of the meal.

Didn't like the fact that staff didn't wear a uniform and we never had the same server to look after us. Also when we went to pay no one on the desk for at least 5 minutes as they were checking tables were ready for future guests. Service was quite shoddy they didn't listen to our drinks order which was ordered without ice yet both drinks came with ice.
