Mould in shower. No shower caddy for your soap, so have to bend down. Just one small shelf above sink for cosmetics, so not enough, was keeping most of stuff on the desk. Then not enough room to make a cup of tea. Bathroom let it down and maybe a small coffee table added to the room.

I was expecting pretty basic facilities in the bunk house but this is pretty poor. Flimsy walls, tiny rooms, moldy curtains (B2) awful matress. The shared loo/shower room had blood in the wall. The so called kitchen was a kettle and microwave.Garden area was messy. Breakfast ok but not really worth the price.Avoid

TMost staff were super but our room was so cold and radiator was full of dust so they aren't letting the heat out very well, but the veiw was darling, and if it wasn't for the fact of the coldness and dusty radiator it would have been brilliant and romantic, felt like we didn't dare to try the spa as we would have been in the cold room after so really let us down tremendously, and the complaints fallen on deaf ears. Highly recommended. But I had a sports bra go missing the boss looked in the room but wasn't there as only noticed when I got home it was missing. There may be a light fingered chamber maid in there mist it put a dampener on what was a lovely break. Was my best sports bra.

Room was a little dated and could do with refreshing. Had an smell to the room. Otherwise a nice hotel and good location. Excellent service from staff, couldn't fault it.

Great service and food. Friendly staff.Bunk rooms are like cells. Fine for a base to use and somewhere to sleep. Communal amenities but functional and clean.

This was our second visit to the hotel this year & I can honestly say if we'd had this room on our first visit we wouldn't have booked a second visit the room was a good size bedroom but sad to see lots of cobwebs around the ceiling & a large black damp patch in corner by bed. The heating wasn't working on the first night so decided to use the spare quilt we found in the wardrobe, this had a hugh brown stain it. The next day we informed reception we had no heating & it was fixed by the time we came back that evening.Our room had small bathroom with no shelf over sink so nowhere to put wash stuff. The door was missing from the shower cubical and the shower tray was dirty around the edges. There was black mould around the tiles as extractor fan came on but didn't work.Having said all that you can't fault the staff, all of them very happy & helpful.

Lisa and gemma and Charlotte don’t stop couldn’t do enough for us basically booked last minute due to bad weather we missed our ferry booked on line same dayDrove back from holly head to a wonderful warm welcome, we had missed dinner not a problem made us a meal and as said fantastic staff wonderful rooms and such a fantastic price thanks again to all concerned took the stress away from a bad journey x

Good location, really nice breakfast included with vegetarian options. The staff on breakfast were incredible.Best for short stays and good stops for walkers and travellers. There is a spa on site and parking and a smoking area. Parking is not the easiest to access or get out of, but there are other places to park nearby.The location is right in Betws-y-coed, and there are spars and shops nearby to buy food and also quite a few restaurants. It's a perfectly convenient place to stay if you are walking in the snowdonia range or rucksacking, even for travellers exploring the best of North Wales. Rooms are okay, but we didn't have the best view out of the window.
