Had a great experience!! The Host was very welcoming and the bar was quite accommodating.But the best thing was how the staff was able to help me when I accidentally forgot my FAVORITE swimming suit in my room when checking out. I live out by the west coast of the US, so I was not going to be surprised if I never got the swimming suit back.But no worries for me, because they sent it out right away and now I have my FAVORITE suit back!!!~~Also, beautiful lake/mountain view when swimming in the pool!!

This a a brilliant hotel. Set up for out door adventure. Lovely staff. Great service. Thanks once again for making our stay in Scotland so enjoyable.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The food was great, room was very clean n tidy. I would highly recommend. We were a group of 31 and everyone enjoyed them self. Great value for money especially Thier packed lunch deal!!! We go back every year.

A truly beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy the mountains of Glen Coe and surrounding countryside.Comfort and hospitality in the Scots Baronial style this location cannot be equalled in value for money.I personally visit every odd weekend to relax for city life. The staff are immensely helpful, courteous and well informed. I throughly recommend this location for those of us who are seeking a quieter, more relaxed view of Scotland.

Fantastic at GlencoeCosy comfortable ensuite room, table service excellent, food delicious and plentiful.Walk leaders experienced, friendly helpful, knowledgeable.Evening entertainment planned so fun for all ages.Teenagers took to the swimming pool for their fun.

Quite a large HF holidays house with a modern wing and a pool. Set in large grounds that go right down to the lake shore, but if you go at the wrong time you will be kept indoors by the midges! Walking from the house with HF here is generally either very easy or extremely tough - not much in the middle. Good Scottish food served with bagpipes!

Our first HF Holiday, but it won't be our last. Good value and lots of fun.. Food was good and plentiful, hikes were beautiful and well-described. Accommodations were fine.

I like HF walking holidays very much. And I liked Glen Coe very much - the scenery is extraordinary there. I had booked for 7 nights Led Walking, but, because of Covid, that was withdrawn, so I changed to 7 nights Self-Guided. The week was a great success and a great experience. I look forward to going straight back there and doing a week's Led Walking - up Ben Nevis, etc, once the virus has gone. The food is excellent and the service old-fashioned, in the best possible sense. No alcohol that week, because of Covid, but I had non-alcoholic lager with my dinners, and there is normally a very well-stocked bar. No swimming pool, because of Covid, but there is normally a large indoor pool. The scenery at Glencoe is breathtaking and world-beating and the house offers a large selection of Self-Guided and (normally) Led walking in the area. The catch is that you need to invest in a high quality Goretex waterproof and high quality (probably Italian) walking boots. They are essential, not optional. I took the Caledonian Sleeper in both directions between Euston and Fort William and that added even more to my holiday experience. I strongly recommend that you spend quite a bit more and get the Club (or Double) Room on the Sleeper: not the Classic Room.
