What a wonderful local museum. So many items to see all with local connections. Some displays in historical contex other in subject selections. Lots of information either with the exibitions, in folders and pictures or from the very helpful and friendly local staff. Well worth many vists as will see different perespectives on each visit. Well done to the Museum and local supporters. And its free but please consider supportive donation.

Popped in today and found it to be an absolute gem, while not a huge place they did seem to have something for everyone, with a very welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff/volunteers. My lad loved chatting to them about the prehistoric items and the roman pieces.

Sad to find it closed until the weekend. We previously visited from Australia in June2000, almost 45 years after beginning school here in September 1955. The museum was great back then and would have liked to see it today.

This museum is one of the best i have been to,March is not a massive town but it has a fantastic history.We spent about 1 1/2 hours looking round and need to go back again.This is only open on wednesdays and saturdays but its well worth a visit.No charge for admission but donations . accepted

Very helpful and informative volunteers. The museum is interesting and has many first-hand objects or documents from the ancestors of March families or visitors. I was in search of information regarding war evacuees and they were able to help me. Great place to visit when visiting March or Cambridgeshire, open Wednesdays and Saturdays I believe

Loved this little museum!! As a collector of WW1 and 2medals and memorabilia I was impressed with their excellent display. Also a nice display for an Australian pilot who died preventing his damaged aircraft from crashing into the town.

Lovely museum full of local and fenland history. Exhibits often change so always worth another visit.Free admission as Museum runs on donations. So please if you do visit leave a little in the donation box

What a great , little active Museum March has , in a fantasic old school building , all being run by volunteers , well worth a visit !
