Absolutely amazing food! Have passed by many times but we decided to give it a go! And so glad we did! Chicken Wings (starters) were the largest I've seen and super tasty! Pork Belly (other starter) was equally delicious!Mains, we had Chicken supreme(yum) and Gammon (equally yum). The triple fried chips are to die for! We will definitely be going back! Shame I didn't take any pics to prove how good it looked (as well as tasted). Guys behind bar were really friendly and great service! See you soon :)

Very promising halt for a refreshment break on the Fosse Way. Old interesting coaching house which attracted us to stop for a break from our journey. The first problem was one of access. The only entrance was locked and it took a while to attract attention of staff inside to unlock the door. We were told that it always happened that customers routinely dropped the catch in error. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating however the food offering was disappointing and overpriced. We will not revisit.

The rooms are clean and very picturesque. The only problem was the plumbing, we couldn't have a shower because the water wouldn't drain fast enough. And the toilet almost overflowed. And there was no milk for the tea or coffee. Other than that very picturesque little hotel.

Had an amazing Sunday lamb roast dinner today, meat was so tender. Great service and friendly staff thank you, will be back. Dad's already booked in for your monthly curry night :). Big car park across the road from the pub if it gets busy.

Plumbing didn't work in the room so in the morning we were not able to have a shower or use the toilet as ( looked like sewer water) overflowed Into the shower basin. And then the toilet blocked up. Super strange. ( We didn't use on the day we got there as we rushed straight out)Mentioned this to the owners/ people that were at the bar on the way out and they didn't give a hoot or apologize, they acted like they already knew about the problem and didn't give a discount. The room was comfortable so just a massive disappointment with the rooms plumbing.

Good hotel, family business. In old English style. Nice pub and small restaurant downstairs. Prices are affordable. Rooms are cleaned every day. Clean and tidy. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Big shower in the room. Window that can be opened. Petrol station and shop 2 minutes walk. Honestly, I liked it. Pub prices are affordable. I was satisfied. I checked Inn 2 hours earlier, and the owner permitted this.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled across this little hotel and restaurant. It was a bit quiet and we thought we had made a mistake however, our worry turned into elation as the food was absolutely superb! all fresh and cooked to perfection. Jimmy, the waiter, was exceptionally polite and very tentative. A truly wonderful experience. See you soon. Dave, Belinda & Jacko.

Restaurant review only.We stopped here on our way back from Wiltshire to Staffordshire on a Friday evening. We decided to take a break and thought eating before we arrived home would make things easier for us when we finally arrived back home. We saw the sign advertising the Inn just as we entered the village and basically just turned straight in.Having read the menu we decided to eat here and it proved to be an excellent choice. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The drinks arrived promptly and we chose to eat in the outside courtyard as it was a nice evening. Our meals were excellent, okay it was the beer battered haddock and chips but the fish was some of the best we have eaten for ages. The batter was not greasy at all and the fish was flaky and firm to our liking. Good range of condiments made available without asking which was unusual to see these days.If the opportunity arises we would be more that happy to eat here in the future. On to more mundane things, the toilets were clean and well appointed.

We only stopped for a coffee to break the journey on our way to the Cotswolds. Very accommodating staff, the bar is clean and homely. We have pencilled this in for a meal in the restaurant on our next trip.
