Escape Room Manchester

A great place to go out for the day with friends of family. Staff explain everything and answer any questions you may have. Tons of different themed rooms to pick from. overall recommended for anyone who wants to try it

This was my first experience of an escape room, and I've since done quite a few different ones. We visited this one as part of a hen party and we had a really good time. The room we did was challenging but doable, and some of the clues and tasks were very creative. The overall experience was very entertaining. Great fun, and something a bit different. Definitely would recommend a visit.

Fantastic clues and all of the staff are really into it, so we're in the mood! Went with 1 friend and almost got to the end of a 5/5 difficulty room. Compared to Breakout the puzzles are full of red herrings that can get annoying at times.

Puzzles and concepts are fun - I've been to a couple of rooms, a couple of years apart and the latest time I went, it felt like the facilities were lacking in maintenance. The bridge you walk along to get into the building was poorly lit and had sunken planks which were covered with loose boards. The game itself had to also be reset because of a technical failure.As I say, I think the games are good and are lots of fun but I feel more upkeep of the premises would beneficial.

If you've done quite a few escape rooms, do not do the prison break one as you'll find it too easy. We did it with 2 and had fun doing the room tho. However the staff are a bit weird. I had a big winter coat but no one asked me if I'd like to leave that somewhere, so I was still wearing it in the room. When I asked the staff after her explanation of the room, she said to just leave it hanging on the chair in the escape room?? I asked her if she could leave it outside the room so she did eventually but it was a bit awkward. Then when we got out of the room no one greeted us, asked us how it went, nothing. I went looking for my coat (that had my phone in my pocket) and found it hanging on a coat hanger somewhere where everyone could have taken it. No goodbye or thank you from any of the staff it was so weird! The place looks a bit shabby as well but lots of escape rooms do so not too bothered about that. It's the staff who could have made this a great experience but they didn't.

Staff were really great, warm welcome, set the scene and the setting was fab, liked to have good group areas and bar. I have been to much better escape rooms and felt ours (slaughter house) was a little basic, and the dark room feels like it is just hiding an amateur set up. The group did have fun, but it fell a bit flat worth a couple of us who had been to once before.

Brilliant, just brilliant. Some super tricky , fiddley games, but great fun. Really hope to be able to go again and try the other themed rooms.

This was great. We did the pirates of the Caribbean escape room and it was such fun. I was worried it was going to be scary but they are 100% right when they say it is kid friendly. Would definitely like to go try them all
