Credit where credit is due... Although i work in a company that is classed as there 'rivals'...I placed an order using c&c. Knowing the product wouldnt arrive until today with bank holiday, I was greeted today by a great employer (didn't get her name) but also to the young lad behind the counter for asking if I was being served. It was great customer service from both. Many thanks.

Was saying to my husband when we left, we've never had anything but excellent service from any Screwfix, regardless of which location we've used up and down the country.Peterlee staff were, as always, so friendly and helpful.

The reason i like this shop so much is because every time i go there and ask about products, the staff is always very well informed and friendly and they offer me advice about products.

Called in today for ceramic tap cartridge and toilet cistern handle. The staff were excellent, went and got four different cartridges till I got the right size. Cartridge fitted perfect and father in law was over the moon

Great kit, good value, easy to get to, helpful staff... Needed a long level... Just bought 4 piece, came in it's own carry bag, £40... Brilliant value and quality...

Placed an order for click and collect. Received a text to say order was ready to collect (about 5 minutes after I had finished ordering). Went to pick up order and there were about 7 people in the shop, apparently all being served and so I was served straight away. Very happy with the service and the prices. Very friendly staff.

My partner has 3 times placed an order with peterlee branch and 3 times they have no record of order when i have gone to pick it up. Today however was last straw. He ordered blue cir le ready mixed mortar. The first server sent me away as if I was a piece of dirt and then carried on chatting to her friends or relatives in Polish. I realised he gave me product number but when I returned the next server refused to serve me this product as she stated it needed to be ordered despite a row of this product being stored on back shelf. I wS angry by this point Nd stated the service I this store was deplorable. I went to Tool Station and got the product without ordering it straight away and it was even cheaper then Screwfix. In future Tool Station will get my custom.
