My boiler stopped working on 18/11/2021. I have had 3 engineers come to the property 4 times (to date). The first suspected a blockage in the pipes but ordered a new pump. The second installed the new pump and left telling me that it was All fixed". It wasn't. There was no heat at all. The third "fixed" the boiler and there was heat for 3 hours. The fourth visit was from the first engineer who went into the loft and discovered that there was indeed a major blockage in one of the pipes which couldn't be cleared by the usual methods. He said it would be a "huge job" and it would either need a high pressure blast or bypassing the pipe (as it leads under floorboards).I have recently come out of hospital after a major surgery and my young daughter has a medical issue which affects her lungs. K&T heating are aware of this and with every phone call I have been reassured that my case will be treated as urgent. So imagine my shock and horror when (after days of chasing them via multiple phone calls) I was told that the earliest appointment I could have was 20/12/2021!. How is this urgent? This morning it was snowing and today marks the 2nd week I have been without heating. The 20th will over a month. How is this acceptable?I am now waiting for a response from "The Scheduler".I would also like to add that the engineers have left the broken pump

My 5 year old daughter and heavily pregnant partner have been without heating or hot water for over 2 weeks. They had one man come out 2 weeks ago and said he needed 'a part' and would be back on Monday - he was never seen again. They said they would come out on 2 separate occasions but never showed. It took a representative of the housing association to give them a kick up the backside. They say they will be out tomorrow (we aren't convinced). Awful customer service. Would not recommend, unfortunately they don't have a choice but to use them as they are contracted with the housing association.

The prejudice and contempt with which the staff here choose to treat council & housing association tenants knows no bounds, it's remarkable. After the initial visit for a problem boiler the parts were ordered and the boiler declared unsafe, I got no phone call to arrange installation of the parts and I chased to see where we were at a week later only to be told the parts were in and they'd fit them so a PM delivery for the Monday was arranged because it was the most convenient for K & T. I'd asked for a call an hour before hand just so I could get out of work to meet the fitter. No call by 4 so I checked he was coming. Was told yes as it's an until 6 appointment, no problem. Then at 6 o'clock there's still no fitter, phone them up, and they can't get hold of the fitter, or arrange an alternative appointment and all round couldn't care less. And I know, for sure, that had I not been a housing association tenant my family would not have been left 10 days (so far) with no heating and hot water, and then on the day the repair was going to happen have zero communication when the arranged appointment gets missed. And if there's a chance they would do it to a private customer, I hope after reading this people would think twice before trying their service.

If I could give a zero I would have....., bad communication, staff are rude, lack of sensitivity and I am surprise that anyone would rate them to be a good company.This company is not to be trusted with any work at all, they did my boiler installation, with drilled holes everywhere in the property and builder came to do boxing and filling up the holes on the 4th of November did not finish the job, I thought he would come back the following day to finish the work, he didn't turn up. Rebooked another appointment for the 9th of November the builder did not show up, holes are everywhere in the house, causing risk of mice. Electrician was booked to come and install control for the boiler on Thursday the 4th of November (thermostat) he showed up without the correct part. Boiler installation has been completed since the 29th of October 2021 and no control to the boiler till date , we had to be controlling the boiler manually. I would advice anyone to stay away from this company, they are nightmare and bunch of cowboys!!!

Horrible experince. My mom in law has been without heating for three days. She suffers from arthritis. When we asked to speak to a manager they said they can't allow us to speak to a manager and we can only request a call back and it can take up to 24hrs for them to get back to us. We are cold now, not in 24hrs. Absolutely ridiculous. Yesterday they said the engineer was supposed to come by 10pm and at 8pm when she called to ask about it the lady said the engineer just went home at 8pm without finishing the list. So unprofessional. Not recommend at all. One of the ladies we spoke to on the phone was very rude too.

Have called engineer yesterday at 10 am, I am working person and can not stay homme every day. No one came. No hot water and heating over 24 hours. And its December. When called and asked why engineer did not showed up they refuse to answer and they did not even said sorry. Interrupted me to the point when I got upset asking again and again, they then responded that I'm rude and hanged up on me. I have tried calling 4 times and they not picking up my calls. This is very unprofessional andextremely rude.

I had a basement flood due to a sewer backup. K & T Plumbing, Heating & Boilers was very responsive and professional. K & T Plumbing, Heating & Boilers came out promptly to do an assessment, and was very responsive in answering my questions. He was also very thorough in his initial inspection - more so than all the other companies I interviewed. His crew (Denys and team) were also great to deal with and were very hard workers - they got the job done within two days, and did an amazing clean-up job afterwards. I have no doubts they will be available to assist in future as needed.

Never failed to disappoint, at least they are consistent in that. Don't show up to appointments, cancels them with tricks. Leaves jobs uncompleted, families with children without heating in the winter. I wish my housing would choose ANYONE ELSE!
