Padmaloka Retreat Centre

I love going on retreat to Padmaloka, it's a fantastic place to explore my dharma practice alongside other men. It's a really beautiful centre in both summer and winter and the community of men who live there are really inspiring. The retreat programme is absolutely first class, retreats are always expertly led by the retreat leaders who have undertaken many years training and practice amongst them. I do not hesitate to recommend

Had a great retreat. Friendly, kind and warm-hearted people. My expectation that I would be enlightened after the retreat didn't work out unfortunately. Hopefully the next one will do it because samsara is working on my nerves.

A wonderful place to strengthen spiritual practices within Triratna as well as meet new friends in the mens Sangha. The shrine room is beautiful and the whole place run like a well oiled machine.

I go to The Padmaloka Buddhist Retreat Centre on a regular basis. It's a wonderful place to be whether you are on a study retreat, meditation retreat, or just taking a break from the turmoil of everyday life. The accommodation in very good, as is the food. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. There is a well stocked library of Buddhist texts from every tradition. The people who see to the everyday running of the place are friendly and helpful. The teaching staff are experienced, knowledgable and very approachable. There is a wonderful nature reserve just down the lane. Every time I go there is a unique experience, and I leave with feelings of peace, equanimity, and fulfillment.

Beautiful Buddhist retreat centre with really friendly community and expert meditation teaching. Wonderful shrine room with original Buddhist paintings and great home made bread too!

This is place is an oasis. It's beautiful and unique the team are incredibly welcoming and caring. If you want to experience a way of life devoted to peace, love and kindness even for just a couple of days, this will be a life changing experience. I cant recommend this magical place enough.
