Bought our first pair of hockey skates from here, the lovely lady talked us through everything ensuring they fitted properly. They had a great collection of skates in our sizes. They were also able to sharpen our new skates and a pair of figure skates whilst we waited. Had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Never been so infuriated in my life. Bought my son a pair of £80 ice skates two days ago for the kids Easter skating camp and two days later they are torn. Gordon Topping refused that they were not fit for purpose and offered to glue them. How a pair of skates worn by an 11yr old who is learning to a skate could tear if they were a quality product is beyond me.Citizen's Advise advised that I should be entitled to a full refund as the purchase of the faulty or not fit for purpose goods was within 30 days, Gordon's response absolutely not". Obviously not his first dealings with a disgruntled customer as when I told him I would be contacting the Citizen's Advice he simply said "would you like their number" he then handed me a business card to aid me in my dispute.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP

Friendly professional advice and service! I had my new skates fitted there today and within seconds they recommmended a skate to fit my foot shape, quick, concise, and no nonsense!

Awful service, skate sizes wrongly advertised on the website, after seeking clarification on the sizes advertised over the telephone before placing the Internet order, I specified which size I required on the order form as requested. Despite this the wrong size was sent, I received no response after completing the online returns form. After emailing them to clarify the progress of returns request, I was told there was an 'IT problem' on the returns section on the website. After being promised a refund, I returned the skates only to then be told I would no longer be refunded and offered a credit note or exchange. Both absolutely useless as I have had to since purchase skates elsewhere and have no use for a credit note or exchange.Rude and dismissive email communication from Gordon Topping (presumably the owner) and I am still £75 out of pocket.Would definitely NOT recommend, this breach of sales of goods act has been reported to trading standards.

Bought skates for my daughter today at Ice Topp Sports. The service, advice and help I was given from Gordon and Wilma was fantastic, they couldn’t have done more for us. They got my daughter kitted out in an excellent pair of figure skates. I’d highly recommend their service. Many thanks

We were in at the weekend looking for somewhere that had some scope for choice. The shop may have been busy but everyone was well attended and could not fault the choice of options or the assistance provided.Looks like we will have to be travelling to go ice skating related shopping to Dundee now.

Been waiting for a call from the shop re boots ordered and paid for. No messages, texts. Cant even leave a message as the phone does not allow you to do so.Not impressed.

Avoid this place!!!They are not competent enough to fit the skates properly and shameless enough not to admit their mistakes and take a responsibility for them.Horrible service!This place should be closed down!

The very cheeky couple charged me £10 to sharpening my skates. 2 pairs £20. Everybody I know paid £5...they never informed me about the price. Go elsewhere to sharpen and to buy your skates.

Worst customer service ever, staff are pushy, unknowledgeable and when you have a problem with your kit you cant get your money refunded regardless.Would not recommend it
