Excellent location. Service is very professional. Your needs are always anticipated, and dietary requirements remembered and considered after only being mentioned once.Very clean while also keeping the old character of the building. Excellent location.Only nitpick is that the beds are a little harder than what I like to sleep on, but that comes down to personal preference.

We got married at Bunchrew House in September. It was absolutely perfect. We have stayed there before and the service was always above and beyond so we knew it was perfect for our wedding day.Living in Kent they made arranging our wedding remotely very easy and kept us in track with planning to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you to Anne and Deborah. Our guests loved the unique venue and still talk about the beautiful scenery and amazing meal.Excellent value for the service.

Beautiful historic building in a fantastic water-side location surrounded by trees within easy access of Inverness and the arterial routes through Scotland. Professional, friendly service throughout, good food and breakfast options. Dog friendly. Catering for individual diets. Good bar. Returned here several times and will do so again

Bunchrew House is beautiful. The setting is gorgeous, the grounds are fantastic. We ate dinner here and also had their high tea, and everything we ate was delicious. They have a great selection of whisky you can try in their bar as well. And every member of staff that we came into contact with was just so welcoming and wonderful. It's really a great place to come to unwind. But all of that being said, I cannot give this 5 stars because our room was insanely stuffy and hot. I understand this is a historical property and their options are probably limited when it comes to cooling. But considering we were there when the weather was in the low 60s, I was shocked at how hot our room was. We opened both windows, and they do provide a small fan that can be used, but it didn't really properly cool down until we had run the fan for 2 days. We barely slept the first night because of how hot it was, it almost like sleeping in an attic. I'm not sure if the rooms on the lower level are any cooler, but if you plan to stay here, just be aware that this could be a possibility. The rest of the areas in the hotel, like the restaurant, bar and drawing room were all perfectly comfortable, and outside of our very warm room, it was perfect.

Lovely place located in a shadowy, whisperingly secluded park, surrounded by victorian fences with metal spikes. You reach a beautiful country castle and you deeply dive into the world of Robert Louis Stevenson and Sir Walter Scott. Stormy scottish atmosphere mixes up with british country-gentry stile and the rooms are not that big, but absolutely enough. The breakfast is gigantic and delicious (try the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon), But the absolute crowning glory is the cherished and revered house spirit Lady Isobel. A table in the stunning, baroque breakfast room is permanently reserved for the ghost and exciting information material about haunting Lady Isobel is available at the reception. At breakfast the view of the Firth of Forth is right outside the castle windows
