Went in to replace a battery on a Volvo key fob. Said he'd only ever done one before (in 9 years) and that they were complex and my fob was seized. It was clear he didn't know what he was doing while trying to pull off a bit that isn't supposed to come off. I took it home and watched a YouTube video; Took about 2 minutes (even going slowly) and saved myself nearly £9. Literally anyone could do it.

Had a wonderful experience with Ben the on-duty colleague at Timpson outside Tesco Golden Hill earlier today. He provided a quality, professional service in no time at all getting my watch bracelet shortened, and he was friendly and knowledgeable throughout. I'm sure to visit again and will most definitely recommend this branch's services.

I used Timpson to get a broken zip repaired on a winter boot. The stitching lasted all of 2 weeks before the zip started to fall off. This was not a cheap job, but I decided to get them mended rather than ditch them, for environmental reasons. When I went back to raise the issue initially I was met by a very rude and ubrupt man. Unfortunately the following day another (more polite and professional) employee was unable to help either. It turns out in these days of no receipts you do in fact still need to keep them all from Timpsons. Proof of payment and evidence of their unacceptable workmanship is not enough.In summary they don't keep to their opening times, certain staff members need work on their customer service skills and the work is shoddy. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Took my watch there as water got in it. They sent it off for a service and battery replacement. All working now and great customer service from Ben.

Absolutely brilliant. Served with care and expertise, had a very special watch engraved, and had lots of help for it. We have left delighted and with an heirloom that should last a few generations. Thank you. 5 star..

Great place to get your passport photo's taken. It only takes a couple of minutes. They give you four hard copies of your passport photo & a code which you can use to apply for your passport online via GOV.UK. I applied online using the code & it was approved immediately & took just over a week to get the new passport sent to me. Very good value & great customer service. Highly recommended.

Shoes re-healed and key cut whilst we were in Tesco. Amazing, friendly service from Ben. So nice to chat to him. Highly recommend Timson, and this one specific!

£10 to cut standard key, expensive. Only stopped as convenient, will go elsewhere next time

Great service. Had an issue with a key I got cut there so got a new one cut free of charge! Also had shoes repaired; Ben was super friendly, helpful & kept me updated, top guy. Prices are very reasonable, convenient location.

I went for a passport photo outside Tesco Horfield, the guy there was nice and kind, but made it clear that he isn't a photographer, to keep my expectations low. And so was the result, the photo came very dark, and the printing was very poor (Maybe due to the insufficient light). The background came very dark and grey, although the requirements is for a white background.They maybe can fix shoes, but apparently passport photos are not their thing...
