Imperial Oriental Chinese Restaurant
The website has the old menu up so after ordering over the phone I was shocked to hear the lady say the bill was 7 pounds more expensive than what was online. The food was pretty greasy and tasteless. Stupidly I ordered the thai beef curry and it was disgusting. Such a shame. Not sure how this restaurant got good reviews as the only that tasted ok were the prawn cocktails. The egg fried rice was horrid. Total waste of money.

I bought singapore fried rice from this restaurant and found a dead fly inside it which seemed cooked and had no wings. Had I not looked twice would have eaten it thinking it was just charred meat. Over the phone I was met with denial and refused a refund which was unacceptable considering how much I paid for the food. The fly did not land in my food as it was already dead, looked like it was cooked with the rice and I opened my meal indoors. I’m very disappointed with the hygiene standards and the response from what I thought was a reputable restaurant. Will not be coming back again.

Imperial Oriental Chinese Restaurant
The staff are extremely attentive and they always take a genuine interest in their customers. We have brought friends here for several years now. The food has always been exceptional and the service is to the same level. The buffet deal is extremely good value and the house wines are very palatable. It's a very cosy intimate restaurant, great atmosphere.

The food is not that food. Specially the buffet. The staffs are not friendly. We felt very uncomfortable. Not recommended.

A few weeks ago, we decided to try this restaurant as an alternative to our regular Chinese spot, and it exceeded our expectations. I opted for the kung po chicken, which was incredibly flavoursome and delicious. The service was prompt, attentive, and respectful, adding to our overall positive experience.Since then, we have become regular patrons, revisiting the restaurant multiple times. Our favourites include the kung po chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken in black bean sauce. Additionally, we found the wontons to be delectable, especially when paired with the sweet chilli sauce.

The quality of meat is poor and the quantity is very small. They have a seperate menu for a buffet and every food tasted similar as they used the same sauce base for every food. Very disappointed. Probably the worst buffet i've ever been to.

Very good food.When I visted with two friends on a Thursday evening at 19:30 it was empty at first although a family did also enter later, so it was quite quiet.Parking is free in the evening at least, just outside.Going back to the food, it was very good, I'd recommend the spicy lamb and the fruity sweet & sour chicken.Will be returning.
