Well worth the visit, beautiful working lighthouse with tours available has amazing views, little gift shop, lovely cafe too.

Great tour of lighthouse and really interesting history. Special feature was being able to climb to the top- ( 153 steps) great views and the tour guide ensures health and safety!

Really interesting & our guide was very knowledgeable. The old light is still there & fascinating to see. Great stories of Keepers, storms and its haunted! It was a clear day & the views were terrific.

Portland Bill Lighthouse Visitors Centre
Well worth visiting. We caught a bus there from Weymouth which I can highly recommend it was a lot easier than the drive would have been and buses are hourly.The lighthouse itself is amazing to see the views stunning. There is the lighthouse visitor centre with gift shop where you can also go on a tour to the top of the lighthouse if unlike me you are physically able to.There is a separate gift shop and restaurant & cafe.

Quite spacious, even with several other people and you most certainly hear everyone whether you're a floor above or below. It's 132 steps to the top if you don't count that last little bit to where the beacon is housed. If you're very lucky, you'll might spot a seal swimming about below.

It's ok. Tour guide wasn't the best unfortunately, maybe having a bad day. Rather shouty and not particularly detailed or ordered with her explanations. Sadly the new led lights and modern electrics aren't very interesting or attractive, which makes the final stop at the top a bit of a letdown.

Great place to visit. The tour guide very informative and knowledgeable.The price was good.The museum small but again informative.My 7 year old Grandson loved it.

We visited on an overcast day but the views from the lighthouse were amazing and our guide was helpful, informative and friendly.
