Gordon's Gardens in Bloom

Gordon and Amanda came out on 20th June to look at the work. We discussed a number of options including maybe putting 3 men in at a time. We then received a quote for £6,725 .00 for weeding and tidying up a number of areas (all labour only). £665 was for travel. This sum worked out to be 1662.5 miles at 40p per mile and they wanted 50% payment of the whole quote in advance, a sum of £3,362.60 I queried how they could possible work out that number of miles and asked if only Gordon could come and do the work but over a longer period to keep records of cost. I was then told they did not want to take the job as I had questioned their integrity" This is disgraceful behaviour."

I can highly recommend Gordon's Gardening Services. They are prompt and extremely hard working. Our garden was a mass of weeds and in a short space of time we had a weed free garden.They give expert advice and are very knowledgeable. We now use them weekly to keep our garden looking good and weed free.

We have been extremely lucky to have found such a great gardening company in Exeter. We've been utilising the services of Gordon's Gardens in Bloom since this spring (2023) and have been impressed from the outset. Our experience started with a joint visit by Amanda and Gordon to expore what our garden vision was but in the context of the soil type/aspect. They suggested a reasonable schedule of visits to get things going and we have a regular gardener who does all the visits, Colette, who is extremely hard working and knowledgeable. She has been very patient with my scattergun of ideas, remembers everything and processes it all in a post visit email every time which I find extremely valuable. This email also includes advice that she might seek from Gordon directly for the more nuanced queries.We would definitely recommend this company - they are not just there to mow the lawn, they really know a lot about gardening and really do listen.
