Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

I am a local to the hotel but have never visited before and decided to treat myself to a spa day here. I cannot say anything about the hotel itself but my experience at the spa was absolutely outstanding.On arrival, I was treated to a delicious buffet style continental breakfast at the Pool Bar and the spa manager showed me around the facilities which were stunning and completely spotless. The only thing I will say if I was to be extremely picky, was that, as a plus-size person, I felt the robes didn't quite cover me up as much as I would have liked and I couldn't see if there were others that were any bigger but if you are a regular size person this would not be a problem by any means.I then spent the rest of the day there swimming in the pool, relaxing in the sauna, steam rooms and beautiful hydrotherapy pool.I had also booked lunch which was also buffet style and was again blown away by the quality and wide selection on offer.Every member of staff I spoke to were extremely helpful. It honestly felt like they couldn't do enough for you that nothing was too much trouble.The treatment I had booked was also fantastic. I left feeling completely relaxed and stress free.I was so impressed by my experience here that I immediately booked another on my way out.Overall the experience I had at the Chewton Glen Spa was a 10/10 I am looking forward to visiting again. I highly recommend a visit.Worth every penny!

Visited the magnificent hotel for high tea… we were greeted by the warmest and most welcoming staff. Fabio went out his way to show us the grounds and make sure our few hours there were maximized and enjoyable. I will be sure to check in here for a the full experience! This hotel is simply magical.

I visited the spa at Chewton Glen on my own and felt very welcome. The facilities are great with a large hydrotherapy pool, outdoor jacuzzi and full length swimming pool with sauna, steam room and foot spa in the changing room. I had a back massage and facial and was well looked after and felt very relaxed. The breakfast and lunch were great with a wide range of choice of food and drinks. I would highly recommend a visit.

This is a traditional English Hotel, that is well appointed, fairly sophisticated, has many facilities to ensure you enjoy delicious food, a relaxing luxurious spa and heated outdoor pool, all set in 120 acres of lush green gardens.I have to say that the level of service in the restaurants is a bit lacking, it feels like they need to notch things up and add another level of service to what they are currently providing.The breakfast buffet was unfortunately a shambles, seems that they maybe understaffed or the staff, while doing their best, are not being managed or haven't been trained to deliver the kind of services befitting the prices being charged at The Glen.We were lucky to attend a small wedding here and it was a well run affair, with high quality services running throughout, so well done to the team on this.Keep pushing forward Chewton Glen.

I have to say expectations were very high given Chewton Glen's reputation and price bracket. I'm pleased to say that we were not disappointed. Service was attentive and always there when needed but not overwhelming.We ate in the restaurant and our dinner on both nights was excellent and plentiful. The same goes for breakfast and all underlined by great service.Our room was sizable with a very comfortable bed. His and hers vanity basins in the bathroom and super soft bedding to ensure a good night's sleep.A small component that I think makes a big difference was the room temperature, which was perfect for sleeping in, so sub 20° Warmer if we wanted but we prefer cooler.In Summary, full marks to the Chewton Glen's team for what was an excellent weekend. Highly recommended and we will return.

I booked here for my girlfriend’s birthday.Staff are all very friendly and informative.The grounds are amazing. Brings the inner child out of you. Every detail of the estate is planned to the smallest detail. From apple trees to the berry bushes. For special occasions please check in with the reservations team. They made sure I had rose petals and balloons in the room on arrival as well as a personal card. Lots of other things you could also have but that’s all I wanted. They also made a vegan cake for my girlfriend’s birthday which I was also allowed to add 4 words on which was lovely.The spa was amazing and the main reason for booking. The massage was the best my girlfriend had ever had which was a massive relief. The spa can be used after check in so it makes it feel like you really had a spa getaway even if you went for 1 night only.Definitely will be back and I love this property. Magical place!

This place is amazing. We went for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating. The gardens are also beautiful, even in this dull weather (November). We will definitely be going back to visit again.

The service we received from the moment we arrived was absolutely fantastic. All the restaurants, including the bar area, offered a great selection of drinks and food. Even when the weather was bad, there were plenty of activities available for the children to choose from. Our duplex room, which could sleep 6 people, provided ample space for our family. The kids were delighted with their special gifts, such as little slippers, dressing gowns, juice, and sweet treats in the room. Personally, I appreciated having fresh milk available for my coffee, as many 5-star hotels don't provide it without hassle. And of course, the welcome bottle of champagne was a nice touch. Our youngest child absolutely loved the kids club and would have happily spent all day there if we let her. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

A beautiful hotel set in a stunning location. The staff are beyond helpful and attentive. The rooms are tastefully appointed and have an air of relaxation as soon as you walk in. The food was just amazing. The spa is a wonderful place to be. We can't wait to come back and enjoy it all again.
