My family (4 of us) saw Gavin and Vishal respectively who were very thorough with the eye examinations and asked a lot of questions to really understand our eye health. My 16 year old was diagnosed as needing a prism as part of his prescription which has never been mentioned by a rival optician during the 10 years he’s worn glasses. They really took their time unlike other places where you feel rushed during the eye checks. Alison is a very hands on store manager and really welcoming and helpful. She provides a great fitting service and wants to ensure you’re happy at all times. We wouldn’t ever go back to any of the usual high street opticians where you are rushed throughout the process. Highly recommend the optician team at London Colney. Great service all the way from the initial checks, eye examinations to the final glasses collection.

After several years of increasing hearing loss I decided to bite the bullet and get tested.Payal was great she walked me through the test. She was extremely informative regarding the pros and cons of different hearing aids. I cannot believe the difference the aids have made to my life. I also got a new pair of specs thanks to Gavin.My specs and hearing aids both arrived early and they called immediately to say so.Thanks also to the rest of the crew Zaura, Kate and Allison.You make a great team.

As I was dissatisfied with the service at my regular opticians, I visited the opticians at M&S London Colney - I don't live locally so this was a lucky find!I wasn't completely comfortable with my new glasses, Alison rechecked the very recent prescription I received from my previous optician and because of her diligence and perseverance it was established the prescription needed tweaking. Alison ensured the prescription was amended and the fit was perfect.I have considered contact lenses for years, but haven't had the confidence to try them, as I felt so confident with Alison and following our discussion around contact lenses I have now ordered a trial pack - big step forward for me!! Thanks AlisonAlison was so helpful and patience, she went over and above - to say she provides excellent service and is a fantastic ambassador for the company doesn't do her justice.

Having had my eyes tested by the team at M&S London Colney, for the last 3 years, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The attention to detail and excellent customer care is outstanding by the team, which is led by Alison. I had a recent eye test, and the pre-screening was very thorough by Marcelli, the eye test itself was carried out by Gavin, which was very through. Choosing frames can be a hard choice but the team are always helpful and give advice on what suits you / or not. The after care is excellent too! All the staff are extremely friendly.

Excellent care and staff so helpful. My glasses, when made, were not quite right but Alison and Agne spent a long time making checks and measurements and got them remade for me. They are now perfect.Thanks also to Meera the optician. Well done M&S team

Fantastic manager who showed us professionalism and friendliness, and explained to us there is a law to have expertise's check upon collecting prescription glasses for yound kid.

These days, it is refreshing to experience real customer service. I drive from London to the M&S Optician at London Colney purely because I enjoy superlative care and attention from the manager, Alison. She has that rare gift of making you feel special, and you know she will always go the extra mile to help you. She has a real knack of identifying the specs that are just right for you. It is an absolute pleasure to visit there. Alison is worth her weight in gold.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Great staff and wonderful customer service from every member of the team. I bought my glasses here last year and the help and support in choosing suitable frames - without a feeling of being pressurised - was really enjoyable. More importantly, the optician, Hina Hirani, spotted a problem and told me in no uncertain terms that I needed to get it addressed. Thanks to her I saw a consultant who conducted a number of tests and recommended a minor eye operation that has saved my eyesight from deteriorating. I had the operation yesterday and it was successful. I couldn’t be more thankful and can’t recommend the team at M&S Opticians in London Colney highly enough.
