Fantastic care home with excellent knowledge on looking after people with dementia. Cannot recommend enough.Thank you to the team for all you have done for my family

Awful place, should be shut down

A relative was here and the care she received was bad. Never wearing her own clothes even though her name was written in her clothes. Always a reason we couldn't visit. They put on no entertainment or activities for the residents. Other residents used to walk into her room and take her things. We moved her to another care home.

The Old School House is like a home from home.For someone with dementia it is warm and comforting.The staff are caring and always go the extra mile for the residents, always a cheery, kindly word for everyone.The resident' families are treated as part of the extended family too, a coffee or cup of tea always offered.My husband was a resident there for three and a half years and the staff put up with all his problems with love and humour.If you have to accept that your loved one has to go into a Home,please don't worry, you can feel comforted by the fact that the staff at the Old School House will go out of their way to make sure that your relative is happy and comfortable.It was, for my husband, the next best thing to being at home.The staff are wonderful and all of them deserve a medal.
