Steak wasn't particularly good quality; tough and gristly despite being cooked medium rare, but the rest of the food was lovely. Staff were great, very attentive and looked out for their customers in relation to Meal Deals.

I rang to reserve a table for 3 adults and a baby for 2pm. On arriving I gave my name and the server showed me to a table with 2 seats in a walkway, I told her the booking was for 3 and a baby she said it was made for 2. She was quite abrupt when speaking to me, I explained why would I make it for 2 when they was 3 of us. She did show me to a different table which was great. I ordered food at the bar and I asked for an upgrade of waffle chips with one meal, but I wasn't heard obviously as these didn't arrive with our meals.I ordered a mixed grill sizzler, a hunters chicken sizzler and a gammon sizzler with a runny egg. Although the plates were hot these weren't sizzling at all and quickly got cold, the runny egg was not particularly runny at all. My daughter found something in her peas that resembled fish and when I questioned it, the same server was again abrupt and said it wouldn't be fish as they haven't cooked any that day. Her attitude came across as very condesending and rude.The toilets in here are a tight squeeze and outdated, I used one and I couldn't get the door shut without having to straddle the toilet, literally no room between the door and the toilet bowl, when closing it after me they was about an inch gap between the two of them. Not ideal at all.This is such a shame as I went to a different Green King bar/restaurant last week and the difference is like night and day.Needless to say I was very disappointed with the overall experience and shall not be returning.

Staff here are absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The food was gorgeous. I had the hunters chicken skillet and my boyfriend had the the big Mexican. Reasonable prices aswell and the pub itself inside was lovely and there is an outdoor area aswell. It's also dog friendly which is a bonus.

It's pretty much what you expect from a large pub chain, it's standard fare the food is well cooked and well presented, the service was a little slow considering there was nobody in the place when we were there, it is in the sort of price bracket that most pub chains operate in and has different specials on most days of the week, it's convenient for a quick lunch or tea without needing to book, as an update we have recently had the golden years offer a few times (Sept 2023) £4.49 for 2 courses or £5.99 for 3 courses, although this is a smaller portion size it is perfectly adequate and was very enjoyable

Our go-to pub. All the staff are super friendly, they always have the football on and the food is great on an evening.We're a little disappointed with the dessert menu change as theres not much to choose from but we're still regularly

Ate here a few times now and we're never disappointed. Prices are reasonably especially for the portion sizes!We went for our daughters 18th birthday meal as she loves their chicken burgers. My partner done a challenge and I always get the wings challenge because I love wings! My other daughter always gets the steak and had a hunters topper with it and the steak is always cooked the way she likes. IIt was delicious. We'd also recommend the millionaires fries.As a whole the meal was great, great staff, clean and comfy dining experience with a great choice of drinks. We'll be back!

Add on as part of our Premier Inn stay. The lovely staff here were superb. We were made very welcome. Breakfast was really good and tasty too. Last nights meal was good too. You get a lot for your money. Expect to come hungry. I was also able to use my NHS Blue Light card for a discount, at Flaming Grill pubs. Thank you.

Needed food and a drink so dropped in to Waggon Team as close to hotel. Greated with friendly service, a great Guinness and superb food. Couldn't ask for more.

One of the nicest burgers I've had in a long time, food prices are very reasonable for the portions but the beers etc on tap are a bit above the average for the area in terms of price. Good service and banter from the staff. Well worth it

Really spot on plenty of room with cosy romantic tables for two, great choice on the menu everything from lite bites to belly busting steaks.Service with a smile really worth a look.Well be back.
