Brilliant service, polite, helpful and went that extra mile, can't recommend this placec enough. Seen some negative reviews, I had no issues with the vehicle, A 16 seater minibus got us all to destination and back with no issues. I had no issues with finances, there were no improprieties. So I'm left scratching my head reading the couple of the negative reviews, can only assume they wanted to pay for a Corsa and drive off in a farrari???Thank you all at A1

Used A1 Self Drive the other day. Rang the day before to see if they had a Transit van available. Lad on the phone was very helpful and told me the price and what I would need to bring to hire it. Turned the next morning for the van to be ready for us. Van wasn't brand new few dents but mechanical sound. Lad showed us round it after filling paper in. Very satisfied with the service A1 provided. Would definitely use again. Cheers guys

A wide range of vehicles but mostly old and prices not particularly low to reflect that.

Rip off. Untrustworthy liar. Cheap vans but they drink petrol like theres no tomoror. Brakes just work. Awful company. Awful owner. Looking at every opportunity to rip off his customers. Wow...he charged 2 deposits and lied about it. £500 stolen.

Most horrific service in history I had to ring numerous times each time was cut off midway through a sentence so I rang again and then I explained my situation and he gave me a price and he says come down before 5 to make the deal. I go at 4:30 and its closed. So I ring and another man says I closed early because cars were all out and because i'm my own boss and dont work for anyone his exact words but he did tell me come tomorrow. So I go in the next day and after a man rudely ignores me for 10 minutes comes to me and I tell him about my phone conversation and he immediately blurts out an absurd figure. I told him that's not the price I was told and proceeded to tell him what I had agreed on the phone. Now this guy who I know for a fact didn't pick up the phone tells me we are closed on Sundays but the man on the phone said you can deliver a car back to us on Sunday. Then he hiked the price up when he heard my age even though I already told all this to the guy on the phone. To top it all of he has the nerve to say I remember speaking to you on the phone and giving you the price ( lie ). After that I just didn't bother with it waste of time and would seriously warn everyone off this disgustingly rude and unprofessional company .

Great bloke hired a 15 seater bus for a holiday run to Newquay, older van bit surprised very very well looked after and well maintained never put a here wrong in 8bfays I drove it ,prompt return of deposit would definitely use again

I called 47 Car rental businesses in my surrounding region of bradford i.e. Leeds, Halifax, Shipley, for the most competitive price of a 7 seater MPV. Not only that! it was meant to be driven by an international driver from Pakistan. What I realised was that most businesses don't want to insure him and if they did it was an extortionate price!A1 self drive was the most competitive of them all for my demands.Have used them 3 times since then and the owner Sajid is an absolute Legend in customer service.Highly Highly Highly RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Rented a 15 seater minibus. Was very expensive to say the minibus was 15 years old and had over 200,000 miles on it. A problem light started flashing on the dashboard during our journey, when I rang to tell them about it, they said it wasn't anything to worry about. These lights don't flash for no reason, that obviously indicated something was wrong, added extra worry to the journey!
