Carpetright

Carpetright had some issues getting us our carpets on time (miscommunication with the warehouse) which also messed around the carpet fitter, Wayne. He went out of his way to get the carpets fitted the next week, when he wasn't supposed to be working. He did a great job with his apprentice. Worth asking for him as your fitter if you can request one!

I would give zero if I could as the service I received was shocking .Firstly they didn't show up in the fitting date, with no call or explanation Several calls to customer service ( don't bother calling the store as you never get thru). and was promised a call back that day -it never happened ,so I called them , no reply eventually called back 2 days later, to rearrange fitting .Next fitting day they showed up,and to be fair did a good job - however there was several bits missing I'd asked for, Fitter said I needed 2mm taking off my internal doors, and said he'd do it for £25 a door!, Then said the fitting quote was incorrect and was £50 more, then I had to ask if they would help me out a few heavy bits of furniture back in place which they had moved, they were gonna leave without offering , and was a lot of sighing and dragging the furniture across the floor they'd just fitted. So I was left with a half finished floor and feeling very annoyed.Phoned customer service to explain and they raised a complaint - which took 2 more weeks to resolve. In meantime I went and bought the missing bits myself as was getting no where with the store .Carpert Right gave no explanation of their investigation - especially the fitter asking more money ,bits missing, but to mention failure to show up,All I got was an emailed apology and an offer of £88 discount, considering with everything I'd paid and bits I had to buy which were missing, unpaid days off twice, not to mention the bloody stress of it all , I was already out of pocket to the sum of almost £1400, so £88 I found insulting and refused, but CarpetRight said that's all I was getting.So if I were you I'd avoid at all costs,and despite the fitters doing a good job, it was half finished , but most if all you just get the feeling that your customer experience is the least important thing to them. Totally Diabolical. AVOID !!

Staff were extremely helpful. After trying 2 independent retailers no one got back to me. Carpetright had the carpets fitted within a couple of weeks.Even when I realised there was no gripper down after taking up the old carpets it wasn’t a problem. The carpet fitters were also very helpful and did an excellent job. Would t go anywhere else in future.

Andy from the Brighton store was very helpful and helped me super efficiently, and called other stores to make sure I got my fitting before Christmas. Thanks so much!

When is this store ever open?! Sunday hours show as open between 10 and 4 on a Sunday- we’ve been 3 times and it’s always closed for various reason. Today- there isn’t even an excuse on the door. Totally ridiculous when people travel to look around!!

They don't want my money. Nine weeks ago I visited Carpright to buy some vinyl flooring. I selected one I liked at under £30 Square metre. I spoke to the salesman about coming tomeasure my kitchen and dining room for the purchase. He said there was a queue for this and he would get back to me in a week. Ten days later after no reply I called the company.Only to be told they were busy and would call me back. This happened two more times over the following days with no callback. I eventually got through to the salesman who said I should book an appointment online. I reminded him that he had already done this for me and he checked and said that was the case and he would get back to me. That's the last I heardseven weeks ago. I will now be going somewhere else. And they have lost a £1000 order. Terrible service.

Customer service was really poor. Quick to take your money but when it comes to arranging a day for fitting it was a nightmare. Kept phoning but nobody could give me information because manager was always absent. Had to wait up to 4 weeks to get done. The carpet fitter done an amazing job. But watch out for hidden charges

The staff were helpful, Gary was very knowledgeable helping me decide on the right flooring, I’m very fussy but we managed the find the right carpet and at the right price. The fitting was on time and it looks amazing. I’m very pleased. Thank you, I will recommend to my friends 100%
