NFU Mutual Marlow

NFU now accepting my postcode for insurance purposes gave me an informed and concise quotation quote. When discussing elements of this insurance George gave clear and concise details of the queried elements,Also his quotation was marginally cheaper than my current insurer and came with added benefits. NFU being a mutual also gives me a piece of the 10% shared bonus to mutual members thus affording me a renewal premium reduction next year.Also NFU allow payment of premium over 12 months at no added costs.Will certainly consider their quotation next year.All round a very pleasant experience buying insurance from this mutual company.

I am so happy that I contacted NFU Mutual for my car insurance! My situation was a bit complicated, but George at the Marlow branch was right across all the details and spared no effort in gathering all the necessary information, which resulted in a really cost effective quote. I expected to be treated as a loyal customer when one of my business properties suffered a simple escape of water due frozen pipes. This occurred in Dec 2022 and in Sept 2023, we are stripping back the plaster to start again after mistakes have been made on the first fix. We now have more mould than when the building flooded. It is literally cutting the throat of my business and both NFU Marlow (promised to intervene, but didn't bother) and big NFU (offered compensation of £150 for avoidable delays") are next to not interested. The business interruption insurance is a fight at every turn and has paid out only £5000 over 9months on a policy with for £1m coverage. The business was turning over £200k. My loss of income will expire in Dec 2023 and the reinstatement of my property is 10% completed. The toll on my mental health is abhorrent and this company needs to be outed for the reality of their claims handling. They say you don't know how good/bad your insurance is until you make a claim. So far NFU have been appalling and their appointed loss adjusters
