Ordered doner lamb meat and chips, the meat was so greasy, was dripping from the box, awful taste and chips were undercooked.Well overpriced

I have ordered a couple times now, the food is not great quality. To compete with other establishments in the area the food quality needs to be much better. The first time I ordered I thought the burger and chips was mediocre and thought I’d give benefit of the doubt so the pizza I ordered today was horrible, it almost felt deep fried, not great. This place isn’t for me I’m afraid.

Used these guys regularly , not the cheapest in town but food was always reasonable, quality, but sadly on the last 6 occasions mucked our order up and paying a average or £40 Pluss per order 3 to 4 times a week , I would like to think our custom would’ve been valued , sadly not is the case .And in times we’re we all work hard for our money and times are tuff I just do not think they’re worth the expense shame on you Basildon chefSadly, the only other place worth a mention, in our local area is WickfordRegards

Ordered a mix platter. It comes with rice and some pita bread. I'd say it's good for two people with some beer. Meat was tasty and cooked well. They've got a collection deal on Monday & Tuesday - Buy a pizza get one free. Would like to try the pizza.

Best Kebab in the Pitsea area! We tried many of them, but Basildon chef is great with the prices and the kebabs are always delicious! The staff is very kind and helpful, happy to be their customer.

10/10 the best kebab in Basildon 100% won’t be going anywhere else from now on the chicken was tender the Donner was full of flavour, the rice was delicious, everything we ordered was spot on

Absolutely joke of a place, hamza or hamda whoever he is, has absolutely zero customer service skills whatever, asked for a chicken strip wrap meal, with onion lettuce and mayo, what I received was practically an onion wrap, literally smothered in onions all I could smell and taste was onion, couldn’t even see the chicken because there was so much onion in the wrap, then aside of that I asked for cheesy chips, I received a bag of cold chips and a box with the measliest amount of cheese inside , that wouldn’t even melt on the chips because they were so cold. Absolute waste of my money and this is not the first negative experience I have had with Basildon chef, I previously removed a one star review at the request of the owner , and unfortunately as hamda/hamza has been left to run the place and make the same sort of mistakes, I’m forced to make another 1 star review , and I will not be removing this review no matter what, you had a chance Basildon chef and ruined it again. Sack the people dragging your business down or don’t be surprised when you get 1 star reviews and beg for people to remove them!! The only positive experience I have had is when Trina took my orders and oversee things. Order was always prefect when she was there. It’s terrible now
