Having bought supplies elsewhere previously I now wouldn't go anywhere else. As a woman I always get a bit apprehensive when going to a new trade store but the whole team have been nothing but friendly and helpful, without being patronising. Jake and Kyle in the wood yard are knowledgeable and take care with cutting timber so everything you get is great quality. I always end up having a chat about the project I'm working on and receiving some helpful tips into the bargain. Thanks guys!

Called in today for some timber, very pleased with the quality and price. Thanks to Kyle for his excellent customer service, everything cut to size and even helped load the car! Will be back soon for the next project.

I've been buying wood at Chadwicks for a couple of years for various craft projects. The team have always been friendly and helpful. Recently I needed a wider piece than the norm. Kyle searched the woodshop finding an ideal piece, then planing and cutting it to specific dimensions. Thank you all.

I paid around £50 for one length of Washington picture rail. Got it on site and huge knots in the wood, had to all be filled and sanded.Got it installed and plastered around, quick sand and prime, there is a dreadful texture in the wood showing through like sand. It's not usable.For the price this should have been made from a suitable wood, using a low quality soft wood is going to cost us a huge amount in time to fix it as we can't even rip it out and replace it with someone else's product due to the plastering being done.Really dissappointed with this type of corner cutting, this wood is not suitable for anything or anyone. Complete waste of time and would have been better off going to B&Q for half the price.

Needed some skirting boards and Chadwick's machined them to profile and had them ready for the next day. Highly delighted with their product, staff and service

I popped into the Blackpool store and was so fortunate to be looked after by Kyle.He offered me a range of options for my DIY job and gave me great ideas.He cut my timber to size with precision and helped me load it into my car.The store checkout was helpful and friendly too, what wonderful people at Chadwick.Prices were fair and the timber and MDF all good quality.Overall, a huge thank you to Kyle for service above and beyond.

Very grateful of the staff at this company. I’ve been coming here a lot over the past 2 years getting new wood with renovating. The other week I was measuring to see if the length of a skirting board would fit in my car as last time I cracked the screen. A staff member Eddie, kindly offered to drop it round to my house. I'm extremely pleased with my new kitchen which was fitted by one of Chadwicks recommended fitters last month.

Went to Chadwicks Blackpool and met Nick who sorted our kitchen out with no fuss and at a fantastic price. He put us on to Johnny Singleton the kitchen fitter who gave us a date and costing which was brilliant. Johnny arrives and although there was many challenges with the house he overcame all. Johnny is by far the most diligent and professional tradesman I have ever met, thankyou Johnny for making our life so much easier. Highly recommendMark & Tracey.
