After contacting another well known funeral directors locally to be told because it was a weekend and bank holiday they would get back to me when they can. I reached out to Michael G Ryan son & daughters.I spoke to someone who showed compassion and promised me a call back. I was contacted the same day and nothing was too much trouble with making arrangements.During the height of covid it was a difficult time to arrange anything let alone a funeral. Especially as this is something me and my husband had never done before. Nothing was too much trouble and you gave us great guidance. Thanks to Louise who dealt with my never ending questions.Everyone I spoke to and met was friendly yet professional. We felt ourselves and our loved one were in very safe hands.Thank you so much for everything. I can’t put into words how much it meant at such a sad time.Someone asked us recently who we used as a director and we didn’t hesitate to recommend.

Dreadful. Insensitive, unprofessional, would not recommend. I lost my partner and due to disagreement within his family, his brother to whom he did not speak to took over ...he kept asking me where my partners money was.! The women at Michael G Ryan were absolutely appalling. The funeral itself was tasteless and one of the daughters of M. Ryan had a minute skirt barely covering herself and a top hat and swung a cane ! It was dreadful. I just wish I had gone to Green Willows or a respectable firm . They need to be closed down for unprofessional behaviour...............................................................................................................................................Just saw your response. I could not have asked for a better service from this family run business. Warm, friendly, supportive and professional. They dealt with everything so prompt and efficiently, their guidance and experience through this difficult time was so reassuring. I cannot thank them enough.

Disgusting behaviour from one of Funeral Directors Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters staffI was Stood having a cigarette outside the pub next door when they were taking a coffin - I noticed so I looked away but one of Thier undertakers ( a fair haired well built female) decided to shout loudly over the coffin what you bloody looking at have you not seen the coffin before" - sorry but what an utter show of disrespect to a person in a coffin - makes me wonder if they have so little respect to shout over coffins what else they do - all this when I'm getting ready to bury my uncle next Wednesday - thankfully with a more respectful firm I won't be using this firm should I sadly need one.Teach your staff decorum and Respect especially when handling the deceased in public"
