The staff are always very friendly and very knowledgeable. They go the extra mile and you never feel you are being pushed into a decision but they will spend as long as it takes to ensure that the product is right for you. Always a pleasant experience.

I love American golf it has almost everything I need as a golfer. Have to say don't like there prices but there is no real competition on the high street where you can go and try clubs and be given time to make your mind up.

Absolutely amazing Staff, Bill Jones is undoubtedly first class in his help and friendly as well as professional advice, I would go anywhere else again and I will be back when i need new irons.!!!

Great shop for all your golfing needs at bargain prices

I have been into the Hazel Grove branch a couple of times in the last few months, either with a problem with a club or stock query, Stephen has been a great help. His product knowledge is fantastic and he really goes out of his way to help you. Other members of staff don't seem to know what day it is, where as Stephen is really a credit to American Golf.

Huge thanks to Phil. Helped me in my search for a set of irons I wanted within minutes after struggling to get them from my local store. Albeit my local store located them, but his efforts to help have the same set delivered to this branch were second to none.

Wow! i've never had an item delivered before with part of the contents missing but the box being present. Who knows if its been stolen at the warehousing unit or from the delivery company. I usually order in branch and collect and maybe this is why. I ordered a PowaKaddy 36 hole FX3 - it was delivered as scheduled with no issues. Ive opened it and the 36 hole battery box has previously been opened and is empty! The box was taped close but only one black band strap was in place. Im assuming this is a fault at the warehouse. Ive tried to phone and the 'technical issues' they are having on the phone lines still exists. Funny that, i was going to order a week ago via the phone and the same recorded message was in place. Not what i expect from a national retailer therefore i would be greatly worried about ordering online from them again. I guess i'll have to email or find another time consuming way of resolving the issue! A sign of good company is how easy to resolve a problem is......not great. Roll the reopening of branches to avoid this situation. It would appear i am being sold something that has been returned but sent out as a new item.

I’m very much a beginner and having lessons but really wanted my own club and visited yesterday.I shared with Phil what I was looking for and he explained in great detail as to how they measure to match you to the right club, sharing the weight difference with male & female club’s.The difference in weight between balls for men and women which I never new before!Golf is an expensive hobby and I was pleasantly surprised by the clothing range and the prices.Phil’s knowledgeable, provided excellent customer service and went above to source a club for me - I can’t wait to receive hopefully it improves my swing!
