Loved my day at the farm. Enjoyed meeting the animals up close. Kids enjoyed the play facilities, especially the hay bales. Friendly staff. Sheep were looking particularly hot and bothered in their thick fleeces though...

This farm is excellent, the best we've been too, the staff are lovely and the hands on approach with the animals is worth every penny. My only criticism would be the cost of the food, so definitely take a picnic.

Great place to bring children. We bought our 2 year old and she enjoyed petting chicks, and seeing all the baby animals (lambs, kids, pigs).Expect to spend about 90mins-2hrs here, and you'll likely eat in the cafe as just about everyone we saw here did. The combined cost of entry and our lunch for 2 adults + toddler was £40.There are feeding/petting sessions at 11am and 2pm - it seems a good idea to arrive about half an hour before a session to have a look around, then join a session.

A great place for the family to visit. Most of the things here are under some cover so it is even good for rainy days. There are animal feeding sessions and chick holding opportunities (as well as real egg hunting). In the main barn is a large picnic area, as well as lots of toys and games and space to play for little ones. On top of this, there is a hay barn with a hay castle to climb on and in. It is very safe, but you will get covered in hay!Food is available here, but picnicking is well catered for as well.Overall a great place to visit and I would highly recommend it to any young families.

Farmer Gow's is brilliant. The animal encounter experience was better than any I've done before. We were able to hold chicks, bottle feed kid goats, hand feed lambs, collect eggs and try to scratch the piglets as they snuffled around us! The session was lovely and relaxed and all the children (and adults) had plenty of opportunity to interact with the animals. The play spaces were great for children of all ages - we had an 8 year old who enjoyed jumping around on the bales and the 3 year old loved the sandpit and tractors.A really lovely afternoon out at a well run and friendly farm. Wish we lived closer to be able to visit again. Thank you

Excellent visit today. We had a time slot- One on one time with a chick, 2 piglets, young ewes, turkeys and goats! I was very impressed. Plus the kids enjoyed playing on the ride on tractors and straw bale adventure.Mostly under cover in barns so ideal in all weather's! Will be going again.

A lovely day on the farm. We found the website hard to navigate, but upon arrival were given a timed meet the animals ticket and spent a good hour having different animal experiences which adults and children loved. We took our own picnic, the kids enjoyed climbing hay bales and webought food to feed the animals in the fields. About a half day of fun with lovely staff. They also had gf cake bars available.

A lovely small place to take the grandchildren you can bottle feed the kids and lambs under well controlled supervision. Play on the hay bales that have little tunnels to explore, there's little pedal tractors, sandpits and climbing frames. A cafe for cakes, drinks and hot food. A little shop where you can buy buy books, puzzles, soft toys or farm produce. Really enjoyed it.
