Lovely pub, with separate areas, bar area and a private booth for birthdays or other special events.The only downside is that it's slightly overpriced and when we visited it took too long to get our food. We sat at the end of the restaurant feeling a little isolated from everyone else. The bar and first restaurant area are more lovely and cosy.Unlikely to visit again as we got another Vintage closer to our home.

Great location. Warm and welcoming hotel.Great food but the time taken to prepare the food was too slow both breakfast and dinner too took long to serve. This should be looked at and improved. Otherwise I would rate this hotel 10/10

We have just celebrated our daughter’s special birthday at The Calverley Arms and we all had the most wonderful night. We had a separate area that we could decorate with banners, balloons etc before our daughters arrival and the night, really couldn’t have gone any better. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was just lovely and special thanks to Stacey for looking after us so well! Would have no hesitation in booking for any other special occasion that arises!

We had a fantastic trip here today. Really pleasant staff, chilled out / relaxed, excellent quality food. We just had a really nice lunch and we were able to move our reservation due to weather/traffic issues.I'd heartily recommend this gem of a place. And with the snow fall, just some really excellent views of Yorkshire ♥️

A lovely place to stay & eat. We've eaten here on numerous occasions & always have lovely food & service. We stayed here with family recently & both rooms were nicely decorated, modern rooms with very modern, clean bathrooms. However, unfortunately, both rooms had beds which had hard mattresses in which kept us awake. To the staffs credit, when we mentioned it we were told that all rooms have a firm mattress to cater for everyone, heavy or light, & they would put a duvet on top of the mattress. This helped a little, but the mattress was still too firm to have a good nights sleep. Having stayed in lots of hotels, we know it's not us being overly sensitive. We appreciate the staff tried to rectify this & will be back to eat here again.

I really like the way you have upgraded the restaurant space. Lovely furnishings and light. Staff were professional and also friendly. It’s been a few years since I’ve been and I definitely will visit more often now.

Food was amazing. Cocktails and drinks were lovely. Our waitress Stacey was lovely, chatty and went above & beyond for my partner 30th birthday day. Very impressed. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Great food & loved the room & log fire, we felt like we were in a room of our own. Service was great too. My friend needed a cushion as she struggled to reach the table, this was provided without hesitation. All but 1 of the coffees had to be reheated but again, this was done without question. Seemed very busy & we had to wait a while but that was fine by us as we were chatting & enjoying the surroundings. Thanks for a great lunch xx

A really inviting atmosphere with caring and attentive staff. We were greeted on arrival and seated and had time to admire the building chat and choose our food before having a server attend to our needs. Set in fantastic grounds and would be a lovely place to have lunch on a sunny summer's day.Highly recommended!

Popped in on the off chance yesterday evening. Food was amazing. Fire was roaring. Atmosphere was lovely and the staff were attentive without being a pest. Only downside was that we had driven and we would have liked to have had a few more drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back.
