Good hotel located just outside Eastbourne. Excellent reception staff, friendly and helpful, Toby carvery just over the road. Rooms slightly in need of refurb but very comfortable, warm and great value for the price. Tea, coffee sugar etc in Reception and even drawing table for kids on first floor

I stayed here for work 5 minutes away, nice clean comfy stay. Only rated room as 4 because I have a cpap machine to sleep at night and there are no bedside plug sockets. Would stay again.

Good parking, plenty of spaces for size of hotel, dog friendly where very happy as rooms are really clean. Had 2 rooms, 1 had issue with handle and bedside table but reported straight away and made not of them, I have disability needs and didn't realise they had no lift, was put on 3rd floor, the receptionist then took it on herself to move us to bottom floor to make it easier for me with blew me away to how considerate she was, if I had got her name, I definitly would have sent an email to management thanking her. Its also next door to Toby carvery so food on doorstep.

You get what you pay for, stayed early Oct this Yr.Staff were very friendly location was a lot quieter than I'd expected and I slept surprisingly well.

We only stayed over night, but everything was perfect, warm, clean room, quiet, breakfast which is a take away/in a box, but it is ok, parking space, they let guests use the room up to midday which is best bit, pets friendly for a charge, as well Wifi for £3 24 hours.See you next time!Thank you Travel Lodge!

I stayed here on Sunday 4th June, and was very happy with my choice of Travelodge. I was greeted at reception on Sunday afternoon (3pm) by a very pleasant young woman who informed me of all that I needed to know about the hotel.The next morning there was a different young woman who did the checkout and she was just as pleasantThank you both for making my weekend enjoyable I will be backDavid

Very basic hotel in a busy location. We stayed 2 nights & met up with friends. Reception staff wouldn't let us in until 3pm on the dot. They said they were very busy. Jobsworth. The only one busy was the robot carpet cleaner. Room was fairly large & comfortable. Interior is looking tired & scuffed. We slept really well. Wouldn't pay £100+ in the summer to stay here. It's worth the £32 per night we payed whatever time of year!!

This travelodge is a little tired, and in need of a full refurbishment. The room layouts are odd clearly they had sofas or a second bed, but now has a couple of uncomfortable chairs.Sink enamal had a crack, and window was ill fitting.

The room was supposed to be out of commission!?! Although I was still given it!!There were stains on the wall and carpet there was no hand wash/soap in the dispenser by the basin .......... luckily I brought my own .......and although reception apologized in the morning I still checked out
