Selection is there but staff aren't very knowledgeable about their products and offers. Also, the company seems to engage in deceptive sales marketing. For example, signage for sales on products that aren't relevant to products in the vicinity. None of the pots in the picture are on sale despite the sign. Buyer beware.

Plenty of staff on hand to offer advice and help you find items. Waits at the till are usually reasonable and there is a decent range of items. The prices are reasonable but not as cheap as Selco or sometimes Wickes locally but those stores are more for builders and so the finishing/quality is better at Homebase in my opinion. They also have their own toilets on site, including disabled ones.

I was trying to buy a garden furniture from this store and i have experienced rude and unhelpful staff. Raj, night manager he couldn’t be more dismissive and rushing to close the store after 45 minutes of waiting to bring the product out. All the staff was rushing to close and everyone was claims they’ve finished they’re shift. Absolutely disgraceful.

Very nice and stocked up nicely good to shop around, I met three staff in store one of them was good and communicated well, other person met in the aisle was not very pleasant but direct me to some asked area from what they were doing, finally at the checkout was the worse one who represents the whole of my purpose of the visit to that store was disappointed, didn’t see smiling or being polite just scanned the product and looking at her phone and keep scrolling and I asked her a question didn’t even wanted to know what it is, in a moment asking for card/cash that’s all, I’m out. Need more training on till staff who put the last bit of the minutes to make a worth of the visits and feel good to visit the same store. *
