Pawvet Clinic Emergency vet

I know that it will not be possible to protect everyone from such so-called “professionals” , but I hope that my review will help pet owners make the right choice.I found a cat that looked uncared for and was starving. I went to the Pawvet clinic (65 Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill N10 1LR) and asked if it was possible to check whether this cat had a chip and if so to contact the owner. I was told that it was possible. On a day I was going to take the cat to the clinic , I rang. At first I got an agreement, but a few minutes later the clinic’s receptionist started calling me with numerous questions. During this cross examination , the receptionist repeatedly contacted the “boss”. When all this nonsense ended, I received a refusal without any explanation. However, I still insisted that I would like to know the reasons for such a decision and was told that the clinic is extremely busy..No arguments that a procedure takes 3-4 minutes, which does not require surgical intervention or medical examination were not taken into account.Then, as an option, I offered to book an appointment and I was immediately quoted a whole price list for approximately 100 pounds!!! Shocking, isn’t it? I believe that it is hopeless to talk about any ethical and moral norms regarding such doctors. Their practices are based on greed and profit at any cost!!

My cat Pheobe has been under Rinat and her team after being discharged from a specialist hospital. She has undergone a dental and has been taken off medicine she didn't need. The team have been excellent with her, and the focus now is on her weight. We are really happy, as all our family cats have been transferred to Rinat and her team. They found issues with Pheobe that the hospital hadnt noticed, and also do not chargw for unnecessary procedures like many vets now do. Attached a photo of Pheobe showing off her new smile. Cannot recommend Patricia, Rinat and the team more, for the fantastic, professional and kind input on Friday night for Nutmeg's pyometra surgery.Friday afternoon was a really stressful time when my usual registered vet told me they couldn't continue Nutmeg's investigations and treatment for pyometra as they closing and Pawvet really stepped up and went above and beyond for her.They answered the million and one questions we had and put us at ease while they dealt with the infection promptly and professionally.Thank you all again!

I’ve had to take my cat in a couple of times recently for urgent care. Rinat and the team have delivered nothing but excellent care, and have made me feel so reassured and supported. The team are wonderful and always so welcoming and cheerful. I’m so grateful for how well they’ve taken care of my cat, and trust them completely to look after her!

My new puppy Faye was having a hard time and I was relieved that I could get an emergency appointment with PawVet in Muswell Hill.I had travel delays and they stayed open until we managed to get there even though it was after hours.They were kind, lovely and professional in giving Faye her examination, advice to me and the help Faye needed.Faye is getting better and stronger. I am so glad that PawVet were there to look after her care. Thankyou PawVet.

Super friendly, calm and responsive. My dog first came in for an emergency appointment and Rinat and the team took great care of her, we’ve since registered with Pawvet for regular check ups. Very happy she’s in such safe hands.

Tried to charge £500 pounds for delivering wrong certificates for travelling to the EU with rabbits. Other vets charged the price of a consultation and we travelled without any issues. Don't get scammed, they clearly love money more than pets.

Rinat and her team did an amazing job looking after our cat who has tummy/bowel issues. They provided sound advice on how to proceed with treatment. They also kept us to date and were super responsive to emails; we were away from our cat when he first started having issues, so Pawvet's constant communication made the situation much less difficult to go through. Can't recommend this practice enough.

We first visited this vet when my dog was sick a few months ago. They came after hours to check on our dog Koda and were so sweet to him. They prescribed medicine that helped him improve so quickly.Each time we visit the team is all smiles and so warm! They are happy to see Koda and I and are so welcoming. They are very attentive to Koda and he loves to come to this vet, which is so rare for him. The team is super helpful, patient, and take the time to educate you about how to better care for your pet. Koda and I love this vet and recommend it to anyone that’s looking for someone!!!

We had to take our dog in emergency to this practice as our regular vet was closed. They did all they could to save him but sadly he passed away. But we thought the level of care was very good, they were able to do x rays, ultrasounds, and ran lots of tests. They were also very kind and compassionate during this horrible day. We thought they were actually much better than our regular vet! The head vet was very knowledgeable and experienced which sadly is not always the case in a lot of other practices where you never see the same vet and it's more a business than anything else.. So i would highly recommend them and wish them the success they deserve!
