Lake District Paddle Boarding

Brilliant experience, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the whole session. Couldn't have asked for a better day on Lake Coniston with the warm weather and calm water. Great instruction as well from Harrison, he was very relaxed and knowledgeable which helped us learn the basics pretty quickly. Thanks guys

We had a brilliant tour of Derwent Water this afternoon with Tim. He was really knowledgeable about paddle boarding and generally about the area and its history. He was really calm and supportive and we got to visit the numerous islands with regular rests. This is the second trip with this company, the first being an introduction lesson in Ullswater and I would definitely recommend them to help learn the basics and help to gain confidence.

We had an incredible time on the 3 hour introductory to paddleboarding session on Derwentwater. The instructor was incredible and have us a thoroughly enjoyable and fun tour of the islands during our session. The equipment was in excellent condition including the wetsuits. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic day with Tim, on Derwentwater. He gave me and my wife so much confidence. Standing up within 20 minutes, first fall in within 23 minutes. Tim also shared his knowledge of the lake with some interesting facts. I cannot recommend taking lessons with Tim enough. We will return for a tour when we have more experience

Had our first paddle boarding instruction on the beautiful Derwentwater with just myself and my two children and our brilliant instructor, John. John was friendly, great with the kids and instantly put us all at ease. He was knowledgeable about the area and had us stood up on our paddle boards within the first half hour. He paced the instruction so well that we didn't have too much to think about at any one time and he catered to our ability levels extremely well, giving us tips throughout the session. I only wish I'd done this years ago as I'm now a convert to SUP! A must do if you come to the area - highly recommended.

Booked this for my partner. She said it was a fabulous experience and the tutor was so helpful. It was a small group of four and the tutor took them through lots of tips and techniques plus safety points. My partner now feels confident to do so much more with her SUP!

Great morning spent with our very first SUP lesson with Bo on Derwentwater. Bo was a great instructor very knowledgeable & easy going, giving me the confidence to get straight up on my board. Stunning setting for our first time & the time flew over! Hoping to have another lesson very soon!Highly recommended!

What a fantastic experience we all had…. Great (small) group, weather, facilities, equipment. The instructions received were clear and very helpful. Our instructor, Joe, was patient, encouraging and supportive. All equipment was available and when I did the water inspection ( i.e. fell in) Joe was there immediately to assist. Fabulous fabulous fabulous… would highly recommend and we will certainly be booking this again in the future.

Had an amazing experience paddle boarding on Ulswater with my mum for her 60th Birthday present. The instructor Joe was fantastic really knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. We did fall in a few times but it wasn't too bad just a little chilly, we hired a wetsuit, there were plenty so no problem getting one to fit. The Lake was beautiful such a great experience can't wait to try it again.
