The Glass Blower
A typical Weatherspoons establishment. Good value for money, and good service. No complaints.

A good pub. Was busy on the Saturday we visited. We were on a bit of s mammoth 35 mile canal walk and this Spoons" was a very welcome half-way pit stop. A typical Wetherspoons but we did comment that the staff were especially friendly and efficient. Food was if usual quality and there was a beer garden to the rest."

One of the best Wetherspoon's we have visited. Great food , great drinks and all at super prices. Nice friendly staff keep the place tidy

The pub's layout is uncomfortably tight, and the clientele it attracts contributes to an uneasy atmosphere. Attempting to enjoy a quiet drink alone is often interrupted by unwarranted conversations from some patrons, and unfortunately, a significant portion of the clientele comes off as creepy. On the positive side, the drink prices align with standard Wetherspoons rates, and both cocktails and beer maintain a satisfactory standard in comparison to other establishments. The staff's performance falls into the alright" category

I didn't eat on this visit, but I did enjoy a very good real ale. Friendly staff prepared to chat with customers. Large outdoor seating area.

Went for the tea tonight ordered curry’s with rice and popadoms. Was absolutely disgusting popadoms swimming in grease garlic nann covered in garlic butter, curry was like a cheap ready meal. Worse meal I’ve ever had last time I will ever order food in there. Used to be good but not anymore!!!

Like all Wetherspoons, prices are somewhat friendly on the hip pocket for food and beverages. They seem to have a trend of placing their toilets upstairs which is the case at The Glass Blower.Food and service is usually good. The atmosphere is mostly peaceful but sometimes impacted by unruly behaviour.I recommend going there at family friendly times of day

My friend and myself both ordered pasta Alfredo and garlic bread. Usually my favourite meal this was horrible. Pasta was stuck together and dried up round edges, had to keep pushing stuck bits to side. Obviously warmed up but still not hot. Garlic bread was well undercooked. How hard is garlic bread to do. Don't know if cook having a bad day, but certainly won't be getting that again.
