This is a lovely independant letting agency who have very friendly staff. I was given really useful information and assistance that made the search for property very easy. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The selection of property was just what I was looking for and making appointments was very easy.

Friendly and helpful staff. I rented a flat from them in a very special condition that I didn’t have enough time and was in rush. They did their best to facilitate the check-in and referencing process.

Excellent service, always keep me informed, any issues with the property resolved speedily. Definitely recommend this business.

My boiler broke earlier in the week and the lovely people at David Moore quickly got someone out the same day. Unfortunately the part wasn't available for a few days during a particularly cold snap, they kept on chasing to try and get the part sooner, offered to get me some heaters. Basically, they were really on it and I feel like if ever something were to go wrong, they're quick and efficient and also super friendly which I love. Thanks guys!

Made the mistake of renting a really nice flat that was being LET through David Moore. The flat was lovely but the man is horrible. Very rude and condescending.Hopefully people reading this won't make the same mistake.

David has managed rental property for us for 10+ years and provide excellent service. They're very diligent, thoughtful and careful. They attract and retain reliable long-term tenants who look after the property - a win for both landlord and tenant.

As a landlord I would avoid like the plague. David will never respond unless he is unhappy about something. He decided to use the deposit given by my tenant (which was not held by dps as promised) to pay their rent. Told me it was his decision to do so and I am now out of pocket as there was no security deposit to claim back for bits that were stolen from my flat. Arrogant and rude from the start, I wish i had read the reviews before agreeing the contract. Despite being responsible for the issues, he gave my mother the contact details for the tenant and left her to sort the problem out, whilst still taking his monthly charge. Deplorable.

Sham of an agency. We were told not to tell the local council we had moved in, because the house wasn’t listed. Obviously we did tell the council and were then liable for the council tax, which had not been included in the bills. Very stressful tenancy and unhelpful staff. Also worth noting the 5* review from “Eamon” is from an employee. Untrustworthy.

I would be seriously concerned about the safety of anyone renting from this letting agency. They let us a property that had life threatening concerns (one example is the only door to exit a second story property having shifted so much only one person in our family was physically strong enough to open it - an obvious fire hazard that existed at the point of move in). When we moved out they tried to keep our deposit to pay for renovations/upgrades to the property that were clearly noted as being present on the move-in assessment. When we argued it (with photo evidence) they threatened to take us to arbitration. As soon as we told David Moore we would be happy to present our evidence in arbitration they gave us back the entire deposit. I don’t think anyone appreciates being threatened with empty lies. Staff is unhelpful and has no knowledge of the properties. Also, the properties currently being advertised are using out of date photos that don’t accurately represent the state of the home.Since there is no option to rebuttal replies from the agency, I will put this here. Several reviews below state that David Moore is demeaning and you can clearly see that to be accurate from the way he is comfortable speaking to clients when they leave a review. A better approach would be to rectify the many issues raised here. There’s a reason this letting agency has only 3 stars, as another person has said, reviews don’t lie. I do truly hope, David, that you can find time to reflect on the truths that have been spoken here by many people and move on more positively in the future.
