Chief Pilates
I’ve been attending Lou’s pregnancy Pilates sessions for 4 months now and I LOVE them! As a personal trainer myself, I was looking for someone to challenge me but could make sessions enjoyable too and Lou does exactly that! Pregnancy can be a daunting time but I’m feeling fit, strong and reassured which I put down to attending these classes - strengthening physically and mentally with the added bonus of the social aspect! I would imagine the regular Pilates sessions are fab too! Highly recommend!

Lou @ Chief Pilates is a highly experienced and supportive slice of Australian sunshine in Penzance. Lou is busy building a wonderful little community of Pilates fiends.I have benefitted from the Bumps classes when pregnant and then 1:1 sessions and Bubs classes now that my little big baby is here. I (+ all women’s health physios) highly recommend the classes for during and after pregnancy.The classes are fun, very welcoming and appropriately hard. Lou is an oracle of pelvic floor, core and breath work knowledge and Chief Pilates is a healthy and happy space in this corner of the peninsula.

I’ve absolutely loved having Lou’s Pilates as part of my weekly routine - from Pregnancy Pilates to now joining the Mums & Bubs class it is something that has really helped my body and mind focus on pre and post pregnancy exercise. My pelvic floor has improved considerably as well as abdomen recovery and my overall postpartum body. Lou is amazing with the bubs (and the mums obviously!) so you know you’ll always get a good workout even with your little one joining you. She also makes you feel so happy with her warm encouragement and supportive chats throughout the class.The booking system and value for money is great - it’s the best exercise investment I’ve ever made!

Lou’s classes are intense and fun at the same time! Really recommend them if you wanna push yourself, get stronger and have fun while you exercise. Great atmosphere and the best part, she always finishes the class with some breath work that makes you forget the pain and wanting you to come back for more.

Whahoooo Lou’s Pilates class is amazing. I have been doing her mums and bubs class and it’s incredible. Each week I have got stronger which has been amazing. She’s so good with whatever post birth stage you are at. Lou is amazing with the babies so you always get a chance to actually do the workout. She’s creates a lovely relaxed environment and has created an amazing community - thank you Lou !

Lou's pilates classes are a brilliant, they are always different, the music is upbeat and everyone is welcoming and friendly. The classes are a perfect level of challenge and I am really developing my strength, balance and posture. I 100% recommend these classes, see you there!

Pilates with Lou is great. The flex class on a Wednesday is a full on strength workout, you can push yourself to the limit because each exercise can be dialled up or down.As well as being great for improving my strength (particularly legs and core) it’s fun! It’s a great atmosphere, Lou is always so positive and makes everyone smile.It’s not at all weird being the only male either I don’t think - I’d encourage other men to come along too! I’ll be there every Wednesday - it’s definitely part of my routine now.

Lou’s classes are unlike any Pilates class I’ve been to before. Fun, vibrant and spicy, you leave feeling like you’ve really worked out but looking forward to the next class. Good tunes, laughter and very knowledgeable teaching have stopped me feeling self-conscious in class. Also, Lou really helped when recovering from a hip injury, teaching me how to modify certain exercises as needed.
