Three Bishops
Very nice village pub, only stopped in for a drink and was very satisfied.Drinks and hospitality were great.Next time we will have food.

Although this pub is set in a lovely village and the outside seating are is really nice to sit for a drink we feel that the food was far from top grade. To start with at 7pm on a Saturday night we got told that all chicken was off the menu which was t ideal. We went for the soft shell tacos to start and although they had flavour the CHICKEN one was so spicy that it burnt our tongues.A full rack of ribs followed and although they had been slow cooked it felt that the quality of the meat itself was cheap.

Lovely setting and atmosphere.We all had a Sunday roast which was average once they got our order right !We waited over 40 minutes for the wrong food to be brought out.The stuffing was dry and crumbly and the pork crackling was soft and soggy.We then waited another half an hour for 2 chocolate brownies.The staff were all pleasant with good customer service but I feel the bar and serving staff aren't communicating with the kitchen.I did like that the restaurant is dog friendly. It was lovely to see families dining with their pets ❤️

Ordered the fish and chips on a Thursday afternoon. Fish was limp and batter chewy rather than crispy. Chips were of similar calibre. My partner had veg sausages and mash with Yorkshire pudding, but no Yorkshire was served. She said sausages were fine and the mash was nice, but the peas were like bullets. 1 bar lady and 1 chef who also doubled as Service so obviously short staffed. Ok as a pub for drinks but can not recommend the food.

Food was fantastic, room was fantastic, service was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Really enjoyed the breakfast, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and our special birthday event. Enjoyed the sea shanti performance in the evening. Location slightly off the coastal path but well worth the diversion.

Decided to stop here for lunch, the menu had lots to choose from. The food was excellent, generous portions and nice and hot. The staff were very friendly and they made us feel very welcome. Will be visiting again! Highly recommend!

The Three Bishops is a lovely pub with excellent service and food. Stacey, Nom, and Paul were excellent hosts, and the room was great. We had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights and were thoroughly impressed.The pub is located in a quiet village setting, just a short walk from the beach. It has a traditional English feel with exposed stone walls and a roaring fire in the fireplace. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.The food was excellent. We had a variety of dishes, including fish and chips, steak, and pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling full and satisfied.We would highly recommend The Three Bishops to anyone looking for a lovely pub with great food and service.

Stayed for one night, rooms absolutely beautiful and best comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and host couldn’t do enough! Fabulous value for money!! Thank you for a lovely stay. Looking forward to returning xx

WOW... What a place to stay and eat..!!I wasn't expecting the extreamly high level of comfort and quality that i received here at the 3 bishops.New Landlady Stacey and her husband Paul have really put their stamp on this wonderful venue.I was booked in here for work on the Isle of Wight as I have numerous jobs over 2 daysMy room was spotless and the towel animals were beautiful... (I went next door and there was different ones) The young lady cleaning and preparing the rooms was doing an amazing job and the high standard of the cleaning was clear to see..This place has a huge outside space for eating and relaxing, dogs are welcome and a carpark big enough for campers / minibuses ectPhotos show a massive attention to detail on cleaning and decor throughout the whole placeThe scampi and chips I had came out of the kitchen very quickly, it looked tasty to the eye and didn't disappoint... It was delicious and cooked to perfection.Couldn't ask for better hosts.. I was relaxing in the garden seating area but the staff were always on hand, making sure all the guests had everything they needed.I would highly recommend a visit to the 3 Bishops if staying or living in the Isle of Wight.My stay here was so good for work in planning on bringing my wife back for a weekend stay.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars guys it's been a pleasure.

Great venue, in lovely village.Good food choices, very tasty, well priced. Super staff, friendly, attentive and helpful.Only gripe is lack of comfort seating areas if not eating.
