Dunbar Golf Club
We didn’t technically visit here, but canoed past on our way from a Whitesands to Dunbar Harbour.The sea conditions were just right, with no waves and a gentle onshore breeze, so we took our chances with the canoe. Had a great trip, and once we got to Dunbar I ran back to Whitesands to get the car, through the golf course. Friendly golfers pointed out the way to me.

Despite the weather at the start of the round, the course was in really good condition with greens running true. Excellent coffee and scone in the clubhouse afterwards with excellent service

An absolute favourite around Edinburgh. Great and challenging course with seaside views on every hole. Friendly staff in both the pro shop and in the restaurant. Would love to come back.

Breath taking views from the lounge windows as we relaxed with drinks after a community meeting in the evening.Staff were friendly and welcoming. They informed us that food is served during the day but that there is a limited menu for lunch.The decor is a bit dated however, it’s very clean.There are a few outside tables where you can sit with your dog and watch the golfers at play.We will definitely return.

Its a privilege to play this wonderful golf course. The greens are consistent and beautifully kept. The clubhouse is very welcoming.
