Baker Ashley has a good efficient onboarding process, particularly if you live abroad - the video ID call was very helpful in that respect. Our conveyancer was good and got our sale through without fuss despite our first set of buyers pulling out for their own reasons. The stars of the show are the support team, Denise and Keeley, who were so helpful and personable, during what can be an intimidating process.

Not good. The online status still shows our sold property as incomplete 18 months after it was sold (the purchase was late updated too). I was also recently notified of monies owed to me on the account, again 18 months after we completed. Would not recommend.

Slightly surprised on the 1 star reviews by some people. I had a fantastic team who were very professional and helped me with my sale and purchase. Provided good legal advice. There were super fast in completing the searches even in the pandemic (returned within 4 weeks). Highly recommend and I would certainly use them again.

Do not use this company, avoid at all cost! Worst company I have ever had dealings with in 40 plus years!Over the of purchasing my apartment I had 4 different solicitors dealing with it, so the whole thing took far longer than it should have and due to the delays it cost me an extra £2000 rental cost.Calls were not returned and communication was very poor, (this was prior to the pandemic), the use of their Hoowla system was next to useless as they did not bother to update it. When asked for things they did not appear blaming it on the Hoowla system.I complained to the MD and was told if I didn't like the service to go else where, not very helpful, if I had gone else where I would have lost my property.Not recommended at all!

Brilliant! On first contact on the phone, someone gave me a straightforward answer re: my queries which 7 prior companies stated they didn't offer!We used Baker Ashley to get certified copied of documents and to validate our IDs for re-mortgaging. An appointment was easy to setup, and they were quick to see us.Andie did more for us in 20 minutes, than the bank did in 8+ weeks.
