Great products and great staff. They are always willing to help even if they are busy doing something. For my experience I was after a backpack and noticed that its on offer for a limited time. When I asked if they will stop selling this one they were happy enough to go through the papers to check for me.I had even asked them for a survival kit which she didnt know what it was but had asked other colleagues who did. She guided me to the right location and went through options. She didnt make me feel like I was hassling her at all.Also if your considering shopping here even once for something. I would recommend paying the £5 membership card. It saved me £30 for 1 item.

Good experience. We bought a few things for a camping trip in June 2023. Most products have an extra 15% discount when using a members card.

Good shop to look around. Good prices and a nice selection of most things to do with outdoor activities. They do seem to carry a good range of products from basics to higher end items. Only criticism is that there seems to be very few mirrors to assess clothing choices.

Very poor experience, load high pitch noise constantly on gave me a headache in 5 minutes I can only imagine how the staff feel.Huge que even though store was almost empty.Staff however professional and friendly

We had the absolute best customer service from Terry at the Gloucester Store. He looked after us when we arrived to get replacement Tent Poles as we had no idea what we needed. He also gave us clear instructions on how to replace the damaged poles and his knowledge and assistance was invaluable. The best customer service, not just for Go Outdoors, but anywhere, we’ve ever had. Thank you very much Terry.

When into buy 2 tents. 1 new one and 1 ex demo. The one guy was was really nice and called someone over to take the ex demo down and said he couldn’t today however when we saw him he was doing absolutely nothing and the shop was empty so they lost out on a £900 sale. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Fair prices with the discount card which is worth getting.The stock is decent and there’s a lot to see and ‘touch’ before you buy which is good.Huge range although not particularly specialist particularly anything beyond the norm as such; far more suited to leisure than professional.That said, for the vast majority of the population it does what it says on the tin.Hiking camping walking running cycling climbing and some angling although freshwater only it seems.

It is one of the best stores in Gloucester. Well-known brands are available. There are special discounts for members. Great quality and long-lasting items. Now adays, especially winter jackets and clothing items with more selection. Ample space for parking. Because of massive store space, we don't feel it is crowded.

No one on tills then told to wait by the till ( 2nd one from door) I brought a voucher went to pay by cash NO SORRY ONLY CARD- there was no sign saying no cash - was not offered another till.
