Absolute joke dealing with this shop. Paid for a sofa and chair. The delivery driver turned up without the good and said it won't fit in through the door. Strange as bigger items have fitted both ways in and out. Went back to shop for £850 refund but was told only headoffice can deal with it and I may get a bank transfer in a few weeks. I paid in cash but they refuse to make the refund as it was paid. Shocking. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Avoid this shop/charity whatever you wish to call it, very very Rude Woman who works there, She spoke to my partner as if he was something on her shoe!..or perhaps his skin tone had something to do with her attitude!!I thought that the idea of a charity shop is that people donate items for a good cause, I think the heart foundation seriously needs to look at the staff there especially the middle age woman who was disgustingly rude to my partner & me, shall avoid this shop and will let family & friends avoid it too.

Went to the shop and show a photo to a lady of a set of Edwardian draws good condition, yes said they would take them arranged a day and time between 9 30 and 6 30, 2 men arrived at 7pm they checked the drawers said yes they would take them, then spoke in their own language (to each other) then asked where were the keysI said there were no keys they once again spoke in their own language, I asked them to speak in English so l could understand no he has to tell me what to say then he said no key we won’t take it, l explained about the photo and visit to the shop more talk in their own language and one walked out.They were intimidating and rude.I will not be donating goods or money to this charity again and will advise friends and colleagues the same.

Arranged to collect a excellent condition tempura bed mattress, two blokes turned up I was going to help them, but apparently the bed was in too bad of a condition it's near perfect and had a scuff on the corner.,they clearly didn't want to do any work whatsoever. It's such a shame because this is meant to be a charity helping people.

Bought a 3 and 2 seater sofa from here 10 months ago and today tried to donate it back. I live alone and am the only person to have used the sofa. I’ve been told they can’t take it because it’s too scratched despite it being in EXACTLY the same condition they sold it to me in! I’ve hired a van and made them aware I was coming so now my good deed has cost me over £200. I will not be using this store or donating to BHF again! Absolute waste of time and money!

I would never ever use this service again. The 2 men collecting the furniture were very rude and said they couldnt take the furniture as it had faded in colour. We arranged collection of 2 sofas and arm chair. We also had 2 other charity's who were interested in us donating to their charity, but chose BHF instead, as they responded the quickest.To be told they could not take it as it was poor quality was a shock, as it was in excellent condition and very clean.The delivery men were speaking to each other in another language. After much persuasion, they took photos and sent to their manager, who agreed they could take the furniture.So, don't use this service, they only want brand new furniture!!We got a mumble from then as they left, thankyou for your donation"!"

Wish I'd read the reviews here first! Wanted to donate 2 X2 seater sofas to the BHF. Almost new condition, 4 years old but hardly ever used, fire labels attached. At first the two guy's seemed impressed, said they were good sofas and that they'd take them. Then after a short discussion between themselves they claimed that they were 'cat scratched' and couldn't take them because their manager was very particular! I attach a photo of the area they were referring to - absolutely no sign of anything! I have raised money in the past for this charity but never again. I pointed out that if they just got a tenner each for them (they could sell them for much more than this!) it would benefit the charity but they just shrugged and left. Don't waste your time and find a charity worth donating to!

Nice furnitures with very cheap price.I really getting help for this shop.Today I bought a Circle Table only £3.Here I found 40 Television with Stand only in £30.Very impressive I must appreciate it.Anyone can get households furniture from here.Thanks a lot. ♥️"
