Water Lane Post Office
You Mr Peter Mead are a rude insignificant man!!! If I have not specifically witnessed your deplorable manners I have been witness to others that seemingly blame counter staff for things completely out of their remit.I have used Totton Waterlane almost every working day and a good few Saturdays for the last 9Yrs. Just incase you want me to justify my comments in person Harinder and staff will introduce me as part of their almost ALWAYS exemplary service!!!

Best post office around. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Can get a bit busy but they deal with it quickly. They go above and beyond. I over heard them recently trying to help an older lady find someone to help deliver her shopping during lock down. She didn’t feel safe to go in anywhere else to ask. They rang around and arranged it for her and gave great advice such as only paying after the shopping has been dropped off.

Water Lane Post Office
I use this post-office a lot to send out orders from my Football stadium model business. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for their politeness and efficiency. The premises are small and very often busy but Harinder and her staff plough through with speed and smile until they get the job done. I have other post-offices closer to me but this one gets the nod every single time.

THIS BRANCH CLOSES AT 17:00.All information for this branch says it is open until 17:15. Left early from work to collect a parcel that had been delivered here, arrived at 17:05 and the branch was closed. Very frustrating, wasted journey and will now have to leave work early again on a different day to try and collect again.

Woman behind the counter abrupt and not very helpful. Spoke to me like I was thick as the brown stuff. I asked for my letters to be sent first class signed for and told me I couldn't track my letters when I know full well I can and that's why there are tracking numbers on the receipt. I will walk a bit further next time and see the nice polite helpful man in the Rumbridge street post office.

Absolutely useless post office.opening hours are totally different to website,They seem to close and open whenever they feel like it,Even the times on the door do not correspond.I never use them anymore.i use the Hermes app.much cheaper and easier to deal with.you can drop your parcels off anytime 365 days a year at morrisons parcels locker.This post office will be another one going bust before long.

Water Lane Post Office
Used this post office to get passport's renewed and apply for new ones too. The lady that served me was miserable as sin and seemed to me I was being a burden to her asking for a service. Will not be using that post office again and will travel to Romsey where they are lovely and give a fantastic service.

I've been using Water Lane post office regularly since I moved to the area a few years ago & I've always found all the ladies there friendly, polite, helpful & knowledgeable. Directing me to the best value service but also ensuring it covers what I need covered, be it the items value or the level of tracking I need.
