Fabulous find in the town. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon with family. Food was excellent, and a varied menu, the dirty fries were great !. Everyone enjoyed a friendly welcome and good service.

Popped in for a bite to eat and drink, previous reviews didn't deter, we like to see for our selves! Excellent service from Laura and Michael who were very friendly and chatty, both were great ambassadors for the pub! nice quirky deco, (alot to look at on ceiling and walls) nice out side seating area, Menu was good, I recommend Asian Salad with crispy noodles, delishious, all food and drink came out promptly, had a lovely time, recommend whilst in Glastonbury

As someone who is a regular visitor to Glastonbury, this pub was always our go to place for a pub lunch. However this time round was not a great experience at all and we’re likely not to return. We sat outside and decided to use the order from the table option which was stuck on the table. I used my phone scanned the QR code and ordered. Hubby got drinks from the bar and we sat and waited. Second round of drinks by this time 45 minutes had passed and no food. So hubby chased this up. 5 minutes on from that we were then told by the waitress that we shouldn’t have used the order from table service as they don’t have those menu items and this service was not active. They then brought out a very limited menu. By this point we were hangry and just wanted our money back. If they weren’t supplying the table order menu and knew this why did they not remove this. Got offered a free coffee which by this time we were done. We then had to go and find food elsewhere. Luckily not too far and didn’t have to wait long. Very disappointing visit. Put us off coming to this pub again ☹️

Whatever you do... avoid this shambolic excuse for a 'pub/restaurant' at all costs. We came here to get some food during a mid-week evening in Glastonbury around two weeks ago, the first red flag of this experience was when the waitress (thin woman, dark hair) denied a very simple request of swapping peas for carrots in the bangers and mash meal. I thought this was so odd so I went to personally ask the chef instead, as I felt as though the waitress just said no for the sake of it? Chef confirmed it as being fine (as I thought it would be) So that was that... we had ordered a drink each (nothing that should take long to make, a coke, lemonade and a pint of Guinness...) yet half an hour had passed and still no beverages had arrived. During this *long* wait, we decided to read the reviews for this place on Google, that's when we knew we had made a big mistake coming here...The waitress then came back 30/35 minutes after we had placed our drinks and food order, informing us that they do not have any mash for the bangers and mash meal, asking if it would be ok to swap for fish instead? Bangers and fish? Now that's when it really sunk in that we were in an absolute joke of a restaurant. What on earth? We then told the waitress not to worry about the food order, as we're going to be leaving (she had only just brought out the drinks by this point) she said ok

We enjoyed great service from the very friendly and attentive staff. The food was amazing and very much enjoyed by both of us. I had the steak in peppercorn sauce and served just how i wanted it. Best I've had in some time. Lovely place, we'll be back.

The who'd a thought it was our go to pub for food everytime we visit glastonbury.. never again! The menu wasn't as good as previously but the most shocking thing was being served BLOODY CHICKEN! And not just a bit of pink there was blood running out as soon as I cut into it.. I wish I'd had thought to take a photo but I was that shocked and angry that I called the waitress over who looked at me like something off the bottom of her shoe. When I explained why I couldn't eat the food she just took it away and walked off no apology nothing. A different waitress came to take the other plates and couldn't look at anyone where as the original waitress just walked past giving me dirty looks. I will not be going back. Unless I fancy getting food poisoning. Disgusting!

The new loyalty card makes some of the drinks the cheapest around. Nice venue for a bite to eat or a quiz.

Service was slow but the staff were polite. A mixed menu, with a few vegan and vegetarian options. The sourdough roll with toasted peppers and avocado was disappointing, the bread being too doughy and it probably would have been nicer if it had been toasted. There wasn't much in the way of avocado either. The saag aloo curry was average, the rice was plain white rice and the curry had hardly any spinach in it so not really a saag curry but it was still tasty and mildly spicy and the poppadom that came out late was greasy. The lager was fine and the sauvignon blanc perfectly good too. The toilets were clean enough. The decor reflects local history. The food is over priced for what it is.

Went to this cosy little pub for lunch whilst visiting Glastonbury for the day and was very happy. The food was good, the service was brilliant and staff were very friendly. The amenities were clean and there was lovely seating outdoors. The inside decor was very unusual however really liked it.

I had a vegetarian meal here and was placed on a table by the kitchen with cooking meat smells, which made me feel queasy and uncomfortable. I waited over an hour and a half for my food, which was nothing special when it eventually arrived and overpriced at £15 for a veggie burger and chips. I asked for it to be bun less but no reduction in price for this. As I could see into the kitchen, I saw the chef plating up food using his bare hands!! Lots of people were asking the 2 waitresses when their food would arrive. The waitresses looked overworked. One drunk customer was very abusive to the Italian waitress who spoke poor English, which seemed to make him angrier as he struggled to understand her. People were walking out. There was a large outside yard space with tables and chairs, which was a very busy area, so it was loud and noisy with people imbibing alcohol and some to excess. Dog friendly in the yard. Toilets were ok but not great. I definitely won't be back.
