The best place in town to stock up on south Asian groceries - great selection and you can buy several months supply of a spice for not much more than one of the silly little pots you get in the supermarket. Friendly and helpful staff too.

This is my favourite shop! They never fail to amaze me with their extensive selection of herbs and spices, along with other ingredients. I love making Indian and other Asian food, and I couldn't do without the ingredients from Heera to get an authentic result each time. I also recommend trying one of their ready made samosas! :)

Lovely and friendly experience shopping here. Shopkeeper was really helpful and had all the ingredients and spices I needed for that home cooking I'd been missing. New favourite place for all my Asian cooking essentials!!!

Haven't been to this food shop in a while. But was very glad that I did. They offer a wider range of items now. A much expanded Chinese range eg sauces and seasonings.

Excellent!!!Got a very necessary peeler and knife set, that i did not find in any shop in Exeter. Okra was fresh.vegetables very good- especially indian-origin ones. Lots of stock of variety of food items which are different from usual supermarkets here.Very good and cooperative behaviour of store owner.I would recommend the store especially to all people interested in Indian food and spices. Will visit again.

All Indian foods, utensil, worship, and fast food amount others, the shop has something for everyone. Loved the collection and the staff. The people are really helpful. Must go for south Asian food :) specially Indian.The shop can do a little better on fresh vegetable section but I recon that it is not their main selling point.Overall they have a wholesome, well stocked, and varied collection of stuff. Must visit. :)

Best Indian grocery store in Exeter. And they give a 10% discount to students. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect for international students studying at university, and not far from city centre or campus for us either.

I first shopped here 20yrs ago as a student.The gentlemen who work here are as helpful as they ever were, and will help you find spices amongst their vast choice if you cannot find what you are looking for.They also have an excellent range of beans and pulses. I’m glad the shop is still there.It feels a little out of the way with all the other shops on Sidwell Street, but Well Street is only around the corner from Sidwell Street and has some cafes/takeaways that look like they are worth visiting, too.
