Weardale Adventure Centre

Our family of five , ages from 8/70 had a really great afternoon with John. Learning how to paddle a kayak, in a fun and entertaining way.

I organised the Gorge scrambling for my family. We had a fantastic time. It was fun, adventurous and a laugh. The instructor was really good. He made sure we had fun and that we were safe. He was really good with my 11 year old son. Thank you all at Weardale Activity centre.

Great adventure cwntre, nice and welcoming and the youth loved it.

Rooms where amazing each had a chair in them, bunk beds were stable beds had a blacket a dovey two pillows and a decorative pillow

Brilliant 11th birthday bushcraft party for my son and 4 friends. Thanks to John and the team for arranging such a fun, safe and organised afternoon all tailored specifically to what the kids wanted (whittling, fire-lighting and making their own stove amongst other things). Also the food in the cafe afterwards was delicious and very reasonably priced. Lots of feedback from other parents that their kids had had a great experience. I would highly recommend .

We had a residential trip with our SEN students. Great fun and well organised. Lovely staff and Deb was a fountain of knowledge.

Due to inclement weather, my partner and I were unable to do the gorge walk as planned but were instead offered a trip down Nenthead mines with our knowledgeable and fun instructor John. Fantastic experience, one which I would recommend to all. We will be back (as soon as COVID and weather possible) to do the gorge walk.

Booked this place for a stag do. We had an amazing time! The service was great when booking and on the day. The team were very friendly and accommodating. Provided a really nice lunch as well. Could not recommend the gorge trek enough. I would definitely recommend this place for social and even work / team building events.

I took my husband and group (mixed age 20 to 50) of friends here for gorge walking and archery tag. Dillon was the lead for the day we couldn't have asked for a better instructor. He took our humour like a pro and checked in to make sure the day was going well.Gorge walking has got to be the highlight of the day. The other activities were an absolute scream. Lunch (jacket potato) had ample fillings to choose from and came with a dessert its a family run business, and you can feel the passion they put into it to make peoples day! They have recently added water activites as well, so if you are looking for adventure, try these guys out! There was not one bad thing from the whole day! #makememories #YOLO
