R Bates Roofing Services

I requested R Bates to provide me with a quote for roof repairs at my property in March Camb.He phoned me back immediately and said he would attend the very next day, but never turned up.I left it for two weeks and I contacted him again, he apologised saying 'an emergency had occurred and that he had forgotten.He promised to attend the property by the end of that week but never did.I have still never seen or heard from him since. That was 2 months ago.when R Bates re-roofed my previous property several years ago he was excellent.I don't know what is going on but I would not bother wasting your time with R Bates roofing these days.

Having recently used this contractor for a substantial roof on a new build, I sadly feel impelled to write this review in the hope of stopping someone else falling into the trap of receiving an inferior product. The roof has leaked from day one and although promises have been made to rectify the bad workmanship, nothing has happened. I am now in discussions with The National Federation of Roofing Contractors to which this company is a member, with an official complaint. Please be very wary about using this organisation.
