I'll begin by stating God is my witness to the review I'm leaving I worked here for 6 months and just had to run for the hillsMel is an absolute terrible person and manager. she's so rude to her staff she's so stuck up she sits in the office and laughs talking on the phone but she can't be nice to her staffShe forces staff to get all residents out of bed just so the image of the home is kept, even when residents aren't well or would rather stay in bedDocumentation is all paper based so they can edit it or re write it ( seen on several occasions )And Tanworth Court is always short staffedAnd what's with unannounced inspections" which she always seems to know about and expect??? Whats the point when she knows what should be done on a daily but only does it during the inspection week because she knows theyre coming. She gets the place and staff perfect for the week of the inspection and then it goes back to the mess that it isStaff are told to 'act' if they see an inspector otherwise carry on as they do I.e hide hoist hide trolleys wipe down hoist only if you see an inspector)Residents are neglected due to short staff

Lovely Environment, lovely rooms, meals are amazing dor the residents, good care, Lisa ,manager is amazing and friendly, open door policy at all times, supportive, rooms spacious with ensuits. Would recomend for anyone's loved one

Carers try their best but are run off their feet . Medication isn’t given on time , meals are forgotten and safety of residents is an issue. Trying to get a straight answer is pointless

I visit this care home regularly as a visiting health professional , this home provides a high level of care with a team of people that are so invested in the quality of care given to the residents , this care home is truly amazing and is a prime example of what extremely high quality care consists of , absolute joy to visit , now being lead by a strong experienced manager which is what the home needed to bring it upto to high standards it has today.

I have nothing but positive feedback to give this home. Even in these most pressing and difficult times were experiencing with COVID, all the staff are still maintaining a positive and happy approach. With the visiting restrictions in place, the management have done all they can to continue to support communication between residents and there families, whilst ensuring the safety of all is maintained. Nothing is ever too much trouble and whenever I ring up I'm always greeted by helpful staff.

My Mother has been in this home for four weeks, sadly it’s an end of life situation. My mum has been cared for in such an attentive way and nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. Her dietary requirements are cared for and the food is excellent. I get a great welcome when I visit and the nurses update me on arrival on her condition. Lovely modern home with great staff an facilities. First class.

Tanworth Court, looks really inviting and lovely. However, I found the office area seemed short staffed, snowed under & unprofessional and to stay within their budget they stress there administrator employees with the work load. Their staff look so miserable, especially Lisa and their admin manager.

Amazing turn around from February 2023. So many amazing activities never saw my dad so happy. Well done Lisa and her team

My relative was in Tanworth Court for a few months she was sadly neglected to the point where she was dehydrated and had a raging urine infection in spite of the staff being told that from previous experience she needed a urine test they did not do this and she collapsed and had to be taken into hospital on oxygen. We were told by the hospital that the infection had developed into Sepsis and she died a few days later. Tanworth Court is a beautiful building with excellent rooms but the care is non-existent the staff are mainly young and obviously untrained and those who are trained do not appear to care. I know for a fact that two of the excellent reviews both given 5 stars were written by members of staff. I will leave you to come to your own conclusions.

Ive observed this care home go from 0 to 110% in months . The activities are above and beyond the Facebook page is amazing. Looking forward to the BBQ on Monday for the coronation due to weather we understand this was push back and we really appreciate the lengths lisa goes to to get families involved. Everyone I’ve spoken to as expressed the great changes well done to the team.. not a easy job and I can not thank u enough I know my mom is loved and well looked after.
