Have called in 3 times over the years and it’s not been possible to accommodate my needs with any items I have taken in. It’s not complicated requests as I’ve managed to take them to a different seamstress in another town. Won’t be trying again.

I had a one shoulder dress altered here. It was quite an undertaking with the zip needing to be taken out and put back but I'm really pleased with the result. Thank you :-)

I’ve used the Sewing Kabin probably twenty times and the workmanship is always absolutely excellent. Sometimes you have to wait a little while to get things back but it’s always worth the wait. Highly recommend!

I have used the Sewing Kabin numerous times since they opened in Long Melford, mainly for straight forward things like having trousers shortened. They have a small changing room, will pin things for you, give advice where required and are very pleasant to deal with. They seem to have plenty of work to do so if you are in a hurry it may not be the place for a quick job but if a good job is more important than speed then highly recommended.

For me personally I didn't feel welcome, and saying that they could not alter the garment but I took it to another company and easy peasy. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Having known Karen and her team for almost thirty years I can only highly recommend their friendly, enthusiastic and extremely professional service. I travel fifty minutes to take my alterations to The Sewing Cabin and would go nowhere else. They have undertaken intricate and difficult alterations for me numerous times, to the highest of standards. They are always extremely busy but never make me feel I have interrupted, they always welcome me when I arrive. I don't know what I would do without them!A very satisfied customer!""
